Marvel Vs Capcom
In a recent interview for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite is looks like details around when we should see Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite next year have been slipped
It looks like next year is going to be a big one for Capcom with all of the anticipated titles and now even more so as it looks like Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite may be joining in some of the great anniversary fun late next year. That is, we may now know about when we can expect to see the game hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and it all looks to be linked into the huge Street Fighter anniversary that is about to go down. At least that is if we take what recently was said during an interview for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite with a bit of faith and a bit of hope. We might be seeing it sometime around the end of August if things pan out as it sounds.
Of course there has not been any official date placed down for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite as I'm sure that will come closer to when the game is wrapped and after more of the roster has been revealed. But if you take a look at a snip-it of a recent interview from one of the brains bringing the game to us, it looks like there is a lot of focus on the Street Fighter anniversary more than anything. Officially the franchise turns 30 on August 30th of 2017 and given the links between this title and the other, it makes a bit of sense to launch it around then while still expanding the SFV franchise just a bit more. Unless they plan on dropping another title or remaster on us at the same time there it does look like things line up.
Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Interview
Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite is set to release in the latter half of 2017. But that's not all. The cornerstone of fighting games themselves, Street Fighter, has its 30th anniversary next year. We at Capcom are very proud of this memorable occasion. Everyone reading and anyone who's a Street Fighter fan, get as excited as you're capable of for this upcoming year, and please look forward to it!
Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite — Gameplay
Also given that Capcom seems to be working with Marvel to make sure that the cinematic universe is linking more into Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite, it adds a bit more to the suspected release schedule. Of course all of their new films won't have released until the beginning of November of next year but the bigger ones that would be needed, Guardians Of The Galaxy and Spider-Man, will have dropped by then I don't think there would be much point in waiting a bit longer. Of course that is if it is all truly tied in as suspected and there is more focus on Inhumans in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and mutants unlike the past titles have brought us. That new show does start in early September too.
What do you think about all of this for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite though? Do you think the timelines all line up or is this just wishful thinking based on one small emphasis on the 30th anniversary event? Do you think that Marvel will keep things closer to their new cash cow or will they allow Capcom to use what they feel is right for the large story they are working on? Let us know and then discuss down in the comments. As more on Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite is shown off or released, we will have it here for you.
