N7 Day had come and passed and I know there were a lot of you out there hoping to see something solid for Mass Effect: Andromeda in terms of gameplay. I also know that a lot of you were let down with the little tease that EA gave all of us for the game. It didn't sate many of you. But it looks like part of that was so Bioware could show us all some new and amazing gameplay for Mass Effect: Andromeda out at The Game Awards. Some of you may have caught it and many other may not have. That is why I am here to bring you the latest bit of gameplay for the game all in some really high level visual displays. Hopefully you can view it all as it was meant to be seen.
Unlike the other teases we've had, this bit of gameplay delves deeper into some of the core features and story bits of Mass Effect: Andromeda that we all wanted the first time around. None of it gets really defined as we still have a ways to go before the launch of the game but it is just enough to keep the fans going. It does look like there will be some new crafting and scavenging mechanics for this version of Mass Effect as it looks like we get our ship and the gear on our backs to start with and will need to "find" the rest. I just hope it doesn't turn into a grind to find resources that other games have gone toward as of late. That's just not how I picture the franchise I guess.
None the less, have a look at the new Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay trailer. Hopefully you can watch it all in the 4K settings that it offers. Not that it doesn't look great outside of that, but it is what Bioware wanted us to see it in and we can't let them down. We let them down then they let us down and that is a whole ball of wax we don't want to mess with. Or do we?
