Details and gameplay for Final Fantasy XV's moogles have been released and now we can see how they will aid in Final Fantasy XV's battles
If you've been following along with Final Fantasy XV's Moogle campaign you would know that there was a reveal coming for the cute little things in the game. It looks like whatever number Square Enix was trying to get to with the followers, RTs, and everything has been met and now we get to see just how Moogles will be affecting things in the game. Sadly it doesn't mean we are going to get a fully playable Moogle character in Final Fantasy XV but they do look to have some great bonuses mixed in even if they are nothing more than a stuffed animal here. No more hearing 'Kupo!' over and over it seems here.
As can be seen in the video below, it looks like Final Fantasy XV is using the little guys as dummies to bring us some form of luck to the game. Luck in the manner of we can toss out these simulacrums and enemies will target them and not you for some reason. Maybe all of the bad guys just hate cute things or they too are tired of hearing 'Kupo!' screeched over and over. Whatever the case may be, they are used as decoys that have their own hit points to lure enemies on the battle field. They take damage from friendly fire too so when sing them to group enemies together for a well-placed fireball you may want to take that into account…you monster…
These Moogle dolls also don't seem to work on all enemies in the game so don't get ready to use these decoys for every encounter. At least if you can afford to in Final Fantasy XV. You can also see that some of the monsters and enemies won't be fooled by this tomfoolery or they just have no hatred for the little guys and they will just let them lay there like the dolls they are. I'm guessing that most bosses won't be fooled by them as well but maybe there will be one or two who house such a hatred for the Moogles that they will deviate from their path and take the bait that Square Enix is going to let us toss around in the game.

In Final Fantasy XV, Moogles are lucky items that can be used as decoys!
Moogles are famous Final Fantasy mascots and their inclusion in FFXV is due to the fan demand to have them in the game. As part of the Moogle Collection Twitter Campaign where we asked fans to follow the official FFXV Twitter account to collect Moogles and this video was released as a reward to all of our followers and Moogle supporters on Twitter. This Moogle gameplay video highlights how the renowned Final Fantasy mascots are implemented in FFXV! You can use them to distract enemies or to lure them into a trap but be careful because not all enemies can be fooled!
