The release date for Hitman's season finally has been released and it looks like season one of Hitman ends at the end of October
We've been nice and patient and now we are in the home stretch for Hitman's first season as it looks like we only have a few more weeks to wait until we get the whole story and the final episode of the season in our hands. Io Interactive has just revealed the release date for the final episode of the season and now we can look forward to playing it on October 31st. Kind of odd given that this is a Monday but I'm going to go on a limb and say that Square Enix made some kind of deals to put this episode of Hitman in our hands outside of the norm; most likely to be able to get the retail version another push just before the end of November.
In this episode of Hitman it looks like we are off to Japan to go take down a few bad guys. Only two targets this time but given the fact that it is all housed in a private, state-of-the-art hospital out there I think that the challenge will be just as high as all of the other missions. Let's just hope that the story wraps up as nicely as some of our stealth play and we are not left in the wings waiting for season two to come out. Cliffhangers are fun and all but there needs to be some form of closure or we are all going to be left cursing the game and not praising it. That is not to say that they haven't done a good job so far with it all though.
There are no descriptions of the marks in this episode as of yet but we do have a nice little teaser trailer for the episode to look at. Also a nice little description of the hospital 47 is going to have to fight his way through to make sure he makes a nice quiet kill. Of maybe this will be when things are supposed to get over-the-top loud in Hitman and we will need to see the crash carts rolled out for the innocent people in the mix of all of this. I'm sure those defibrillators will be a way to take someone down. How could they not be included in a mission like this?
Hitman — Hokkaido
Io Interactive is excited to announce the destination and release date for the Season Finale of Hitman, which will take place in Hokkaido, Japan on October 31th.
The Season Finale for Hitman Season One features a mission called “Situs Inversus” and is the culmination of everything players will have learnt in terms of both gameplay and story.
The Hokkaido location is set within the grounds of the hyper-exclusive GAMA private hospital and resort. This secluded facility is a fusion of Japanese beauty and cutting-edge technology, featuring its own Zen gardens, organic sushi restaurant and traditional Japanese hot spring. Agent 47 must locate two targets in this climactic Season Finale.
