The second episode of Batman: The Telltale Series has a date now and it looks like we'll be joining more of the Batman fun before the end of September

It's hard to think that the first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series was out just over a month ago now. Given that Telltale Games has so many stories and IPs going on right now it is also shocking to see that the second episode of this IP will be out in only a few weeks now. I keep saying it every time but it does look like they have perfected their development cycle for Batman here and hopefully it will stay the same for all of their games and only get better. But for now we get to see the next episode coming out on September 20^th worldwide. Get ready.

At least get ready if you are playing or planning on playing the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC. The above date is only for those platforms and we need to wait for Batman: The Telltale Series to hit the other platforms for another date in September. Most likely the 27^th given the timelines for releases but as of right now there is no word on when the second episode will hit there. It seems kind of odd to me but I won't complain as most developers are looking to phase out the older consoles for the current and then future ones. I guess that is a bonus for those PC gamers out there again.

If you have yet to pick up Batman yet and happen to be looking for a physical copy of the game, then you can keep a look at out for that. September 13^th will be the day that the North Americans can pick up the Season Pass Disc and September 16^th in Europe. This disc will house the first episode on it for you and then the rest will be "updated" as the rest of the episodes come out digitally. I guess if you are that much of a collector that is something for you but Telltale Games has put together something amazing here so far that you really should get it digitally now instead.

The second of five episodes in the season, Episode 2: 'Children of Arkham' will be available digitally worldwide starting Tuesday September 20^th on PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 4, and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One. Release dates for additional platforms will be announced later in September.

The series will also be available to purchase at retailers starting September 13^th in North America as a special Season Pass Disc, which will include the first of five episodes in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates. The series will then be available to purchase at retailers across Europe on September 16^th.
