Here we go with another big gaming convention and yet another two more characters added to the list for Injustice 2. Keeping with their tradition it looks like NetherRealm Studios has given us yet another alum to the franchise and another major character making their debut. All in time to link into the most recent big budget film that Warner Bros. has put out there; Suicide Squad. Now we have Harley Quinn and Deadshot joining the ranks of fighters in Injustice 2 and both look to have been revamped since last we saw them in anything put out so far.
First we get to look at Harley Quinn whom happens to look like she might have lost the Joker in the story here. At least that is based on the dialog that is used in the below Injustice 2 trailer. At least it looks like her iconic hyenas added into her mix of attacks. At least when it comes to here super attack that she can unleash like the X-Ray attacks from the other games the developer has put out there, or Injustice in general. I'm guessing they will get mixed in more with her special attacks but that is where we get to see them here and it is amazing none the less.
Next we get Deadshot whom happens to look like he was lifted right from the silver screen adaptation of the character recently. Sadly it doesn't sound like Will Smith lent his voice here and it will only be the looks in Injustice 2 and that's it. It also looks like all of his normal moves and tactics are being added into the game from other video game titles and the cartoons he's been in. I am a bit curious on how they will explain the heroes can survive his firearm attacks at the end of the day but the story mode of the last game explained how the heroes could attack Super Man and not get killed too. So we'll have to wait and see.
Injustice 2 — Harley And Deadshot
Today Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios introduced two prominent Super-Villain members from the Suicide Squad who are set to square off in Injustice 2: Harley Quinn and Deadshot! Harley Quinn returns to the Injustice universe with her signature attitude and some new tricks up her sleeve, while expert marksman Deadshot arrives for his console debut in the series.
Are you glad to see this version of Harley coming to Injustice 2 or were you really hoping for the new version? Do you think that the Joker will be "dead" in this game and Harley is "losing it" because of that? What other characters, new and old, do you think will be coming next? Let's discuss and speculate down in the comments. For all things Injustice 2 please keep your eyes right here as we'll keep bringing you more of it all as it comes to light. Hopefully a lot sooner than later though.
