We'll Be Retreating To Friday The 13th: The Game's Digital Cabin Soon

Friday The 13th

News on Friday The 13th: The Game's digital cabin system has been revealed and it looks like we'll be getting more Friday The 13th: The Game this way real soon

If you've been dying to get a solid look at Friday The 13th: The Game then get ready as the first true taste of things is on its way. It looks like Illfonic has put together one of their backer campaign items in record time and Gun Media is looking to give it all out. At least give it out to those who have backed the Friday The 13th Kickstarter and Slasher Backer campaigns at the appropriate level. If so, then keep an eye out for an email from the team giving you access to the Digital Cabin system for the game on June 30th. At least to gain access to it on the PC as the console versions are still in the works.

You may be wondering what the digital cabin system is here for Friday The 13th: The Game. For those who are out of the loop this would be a digital museum of sorts as well as how the teams will be delivering some extra behind the scenes content for those fans that have taken a chance with the game. When the game fully launches this will also be where you will be able to see all of your unlocked items and listen to your Pamela Tapes. At least if you are able to find and collect them during the frantic escape from Jason during a match. It is just a taste for all of those who opted to fund the game but it's a cool mechanic and still available if you want to pledge and gain access still.

As of right now this new virtual cabin will let you check out assets from Friday The 13th: The Game, see the details the artists have added, listen to the radio for tracks from the game soundtrack, and hear behind the scenes audio tracks with the dev team discussing the game. While at E3 I also caught wind that there will also be some great Friday The 13th Easter Eggs mixed in so you'll also need to keep an eye out for those. Especially take care to look out the windows to see if you can spy something truly horrifying in the mix. At least that is what some of the guys from Illfonic have already stated to me…

How exciting is it to see this little extra coming from Friday The 13th: The Game just a bit earlier than we thought? Have you already backed the project at a level where you will be getting this extra or did you just get sold on shelling out the cash now? What extra Easter Eggs do you think we will find in the mix here and as we progress forward to the final release? Let us know and feel free to discuss in the comments below. As we get more on Friday The 13th in any form we will have it here for you. Be sure to gouge out your eyes and leave them on the site here so you don't miss out on any of these updates.
