Dying Light: The Following Is Getting Some Longer Nights

Dying Light

The second community bounty event for Dying Light: The Following kicks off this weekend and brings out more of Dying Light's scariest creatures

Get ready as the second community bounty for Dying Light: The Following is about to hit us and hit us hard. Starting tomorrow and flowing through the weekend it looks like Techland is tasking us all with killing 2.5 million Volatiles in the game's world. If you are familiar with Dying Light at all you know that may be a daunting task. Thankfully though there have been a few extra things added in to make sure it isn't completely impossible and we all get our special rewards.

As with the other community bounty for Dying Light: The Following this will be a task that gamers across the platform range will be teaming up to complete. You can track the progress over at dyinglightgame.com/bounties to see how it is going. On top of that the team has also made the night twice as long for those participating. Volatiles only come out at night and while that does give more of an opportunity to kill it does make things a lot harder to survive.

If all of us are able to rack up the high kill count over the 72 hours we will be treated to a few little gifts to use in Dying Light. Those gifts being an extra special weapons docket and an exclusive "Joker" outfit to put Kyle into. You'd think there would be a better reward based on the insanity involved here but it is a bonus just for playing the game. At least if you partake in the event a little bit and the rest of us can push the number as high as before. That shouldn't be too hard.

Dying Light: The Following — Sun Eclipse

“We wanted to give players more opportunities to kill Volatiles - explains Producer, Tymon Smektała. - We’re making the night in the game twice as long during the event, so it’s easier to reach the goal. It might be harder to survive, though!”

Are you ready to partake in Dying Light: The Following's next community bounty? Do the numbers and tasks seem a bit too daunting for you or will it be manageable?
