New gameplay footage for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan has dropped and it shows how the leader of the TMNT is going to kick ass and take names in the game this summer

That didn't seem like too long of a wait since TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan got the official announcement that now we have some gameplay and a character showcasing. Looks like Platinum Games was eager to show us all Leonardo in action for the game. While it may not be too much to look at and very descriptive we do get a solid look at the leader of the TMNT in action and beating down some Foot Clan here in Mutants In Manhattan. Of course he is as badass as we would want here.

There is no real description of what Leo is doing here in TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan but it does look like he has some form of time slowing ability. If I had to guess I would say that it goes back to his training and focus more than a new "supernatural" ability that Activision would want to force on the character. That is the hope but stranger things have happened in the past and could be in the works here for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan. I'm going to go with Ninja Focus.

It is a bit interesting to see that the Foot Clan here looks to be more human based than mechanical as they were on the classic TMNT cartoon. I haven't kept up with the comics all too much but I know that was their way before to get around using lethal weapons on enemies and keeping everything "child friendly." I guess we'll have to wait and see as I am sure we will get to see each other member of the TMNT in action before the Summer release on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

What are your thoughts on Leonardo here in Mutants In Manhattan? Do you agree that it will most likely be a Ninja Focus thing that allows for the time slowing or will Platinum Games deviate from the set material? Are you curious on if the TMNT will be killing real "ninjas" in terms of the Foot or will there be some T for Teen change to make it more accessible to the world?
