The Walking Dead
During an event over the week end the first six minutes of The Walking Dead: Michonne was shown off and it was as intense as anything The Walking Dead has given us so far
Not only is The Walking Dead show back from its break but we are on the verge of The Walking Dead: Michonne from getting its debut episode for the mini-series. Of course there is a lot of speculation going around about the game and where it will take the story that bridges the comics but Telltale Games hasn't given us too much to go on for it all. As of yet. You knew there was an 'as of yet' coming as it looks like the team gave us a solid look at The Walking Dead: Michonne over the weekend and now we have the first six minutes of the intensity this game will bring.
All of this is fresh out of the box footage as there hasn't been much at all so far. All in all it isn't too spoiler filled unless you are one of those people who don't want to have even one QTE spoiled for The Walking Dead: Michonne before we get it next week on February 23rd. It does show off the voice acting chops of Samira Wiley as she does try to bring the character to life again and deviate from what fans of the show already know is the voice of Michonne. Not exactly what I was expecting but not too shabby at all.
The Walking Dead: Michonne — Extended Preview
It does look like Telltale Games is going to give us one hell of a ride in The Walking Dead: Michonne based on the opening here. The gameplay doesn't look to be anything we haven't experienced before but these games are mostly about the story and not the gameplay at the end of the day. I am a bit curious on how they are going to work with the fact that the main character can't die in the story and many others don't truly matter but hopefully the creative writers over there have already planned it well out to perfectly fit into The Walking Dead.
How do you feel about The Walking Dead: Michonne now that you've seen the first few minutes of the game? Does the voice actor sound as you expected or would you have wanted someone else? Do you think there should be a black and white mode for the game so you can play it just as The Walking Dead is drawn? Let us know and discuss in the comments below. As Telltale Games releases more on this mini-series and their other projects we will have the info here. Be sure to keep checking back in for hopefully less 'spoilery' news on The Walking Dead: Michonne in due time.
