Hitman's Beta Is Almost On Us & Ready To Kill Our Time

Hitman

The beta for Hitman is only days away from starting and we have yet another trailer to show off what we should be in store for when playing Hitman this coming weekend

If you are a PS4 owner and pre-ordered Hitman then get excited as you are only days away from your personal beta and prologue mission for the game. Of course this won't be the only time that Io Interactive will be giving you access to it as it is going to be part of the first "episode" for Hitman but between February 12th and 15th you'll get your first taste of it and the online features for Hitman. Why else would they be having a beta test for the general public? Well at least general public who already promised money to Square Enix for Hitman that is.

Of course that is all for the player on the PS4 and not the PC version of Hitman. As stated before those players will still get their own beta from February 19th to the 22nd. Those who paid for Hitman on the Xbox One will not get to see anything outside of videos of people playing the game until March 11th when the first "episode" finally launches. At least they can sit assured that the game will have more of the bugs and server issues resolved before they finally take Agent 47 for a spin in Hitman here. Silver linings and all.

Hitman — Beta Launch Trailer

Labeled “The Prologue”, the Beta takes place twenty years before the Paris Showstopper mission. Set in a secret ICA training facility, the Prologue features a pivotal moment in Agent 47’s life - his introduction to the ICA and very first meeting with his future handler Diana Burnwood. The Prologue features two free-form training hits, which will introduce players to the features and mechanics of the upcoming Hitman game. The Prologue will also be available as part of the first episode of Hitman releasing March 11th, 2016.

Are you excited to get to play Hitman even in a beta form? Are you going to be missing out on this due to platform or lack of the drive to shell out for the pre-order? Do you think that Io Interactive will give us the best Hitman title to date given all of the delay and upcoming beta just a month before launch? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. As we get further information out of Square Enix on all things Hitman we will have the updates on the site for you. Be sure to keep checking back for all of that as it comes; and we all know it will be coming.
