Final Fantasy XV
The release date for Final Fantasy XV is still a guarded secret but it looks like we may find out Final Fantasy XV's release date sometime in March of this year
The release date for Final Fantasy XV has and will still be a huge topic until we finally find out when the game is landing on the PS4 and Xbox One. In fact over the holiday break most of us just had it looks like Square Enix and Hajime Tabata gave us at least the year that Final Fantasy XV will be landing in. That would for certain be 2016. Now we just have to get the month and day so we can all plan accordingly to lose multiple weeks of time to playing Final Fantasy XV on a crazed binger. At least that is how I play my Final Fantasy…
Anyways, building off the nice little holiday wish that came out of all of this it looks like the release date and new solid gameplay for Final Fantasy XV are on the way as soon as March of this year. Still a few months out but at least you don't have to wait until E3 or anything like that to find out when. In fact while we may see some new and final gameplay for Final Fantasy XV later this month during the next major update for the game. Of course I mean final in the terms of Final Fantasy XV being on its final stretch of testing before the launch of the game and not utter darkness until said release date.
Based on the following transcript from an upcoming interview in Famitsu it looks like one of the final builds of Final Fantasy XV will also be shown off when the true release date is revealed to the world. So it looks like January's Active Time Report will be a beta build and in March what can only be thought of as a pre-gold version of Final Fantasy XV. Of course all of this is a hurry up and wait kind of thing but now we can parse the release date down to only sometime in a nine month gap instead of a twelve month gap. We'll get there soon.
This year is the year we’ll release Final Fantasy XV. Currently, we’ve decided on all of its specifications and the beta version is under production so we can shift into the debug phase. We’ll show the real XV during the release date announcement this March.
