The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode's fourth episode has been revealed as well as a hint at a mysterious fifth episode for Minecraft: Story Mode coming soon
It definitely looks like Minecraft: Story Mode is going to be keeping to its short release gaps as the fourth episode is slated to hit on December 22nd this year. That would be only a few weeks away from now and just in time to give us all more Telltale Games to play in the mix of all the new ones we should be receiving for the Holidays. Hells, that means that those who get the physical version of Minecraft: Story Mode will be able to play everything up to just before the final episode in one setting. Hopefully that is how the case will be for some of you out there who can't wait for Minecraft: Story Mode to be completely out there.
As for what the fourth episode will contain, well that is still a bit of a mystery. Well outside of what you can glean from the below screenshots for this episode of Minecraft: Story Mode and the fact that it will spell the end for the current big bad that happens to be wreaking havoc currently. Kind of make people wonder what the fifth episode will be about but I have my theories. I am certain that the inky blackness is not the ultimate evil we have been led to believe in Minecraft: Story Mode up to now. There is more closure than just its destruction and that will be in the last episode for certain…with a cliffhanger to make us want a second season.
Just to recap for you though, Minecraft: Story Mode fourth episode will be out on December 22th 2015. It will release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android platforms. The overall pacing and story of Minecraft: Story Mode have yet to fully impress me as other Telltale Games have in the recent months but for those Minecraft and Mojang fans out there it is a nice little extra as to what is truly going on in the worlds that are being built. You can look forward to more reviews for Minecraft: Story Mode on the site in due time.
