Here's Your First Taste Of Star Wars Battlefront's Battle Of Jakku

Star Wars Battlefront

The first gameplay trailer for Star Wars Battlefront's upcoming DLC has been released and it shows off the new modes for Star Wars Battlefront as well as the new maps we get for free

Tomorrow is the big day for all of those who pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront as the Battle Of Jakku DLC will be out early for them. This will add two new maps and the previously mentioned Turning Point mode that DICE presented us all with last week. For those who didn't pre-order you will have to wait another week to get your free Star Wars Battlefront DLC but thankfully you won't have to wait too long to see it all in action. In fact you can see the very basics of it in action just below in the latest trailer for Star Wars Battlefront. Just read the rest of the text as the video buffers for you and we will be all good.

As mentioned in the past, the Battle Of Jakku DLC for Star Wars Battlefront will include two new maps (Graveyard Of Giants and Goazan Badlands) and that 40-player mode called Turning Point. You can of course get a better feel for what these will be like in the following trailer provided and the official descriptions that have come along with this new trailer. Star Wars Battlefront just seems to be growing and the best way to get ready for The Force Awakens if you are that diehard of a fan for the franchise. The rest can just be happy with some free DLC for their Star Wars Battlefront experience.

Star Wars Battlefront — Battle Of Jakku Gameplay

Turning Point game mode

Turning Point is a vast Star Wars Battlefront game mode for 40 players, included in The Battle Of Jakku. The Rebels spawn in and need to locate three control points in Imperial control and try to capture one of these. The clock is ticking, but if the Rebels succeed with a capture additional time will be added and new control points will be available for capture. Moving through these increasingly challenging checkpoints, the ultimate goal is the Empire’s base where the final stand will take place.

Two new exciting maps

Graveyard Of Giants - Fight on the Graveyard of Giants in Turning Point, Supremacy, Walker Assault, and Fighter Squadron

Goazan Badlands - Experience the badlands of Goazan in Blast, Drop Zone, Droid Run, Cargo, Hero Hunt, and Heroes vs. Villains.

Does this new video for Battle Of Jakku DLC for Star Wars Battlefront get your lightsaber all lit up or does it look like more of the same with just a few map alterations? Would you rather have had a nice little solo campaign from DICE to get you more amped for the new film or is Star Wars Battlefront doing its job well? Any guesses as to what will come next for the game in terms of DLC or do you think this will be it for now? Let us know in the comments below and speculate away. If EA gives us anymore to work with here for Star Wars Battlefront we will have it for you so be sure to stay logged in to the site for more as it all flows out.
