Here's What Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's Nuk3town Map Will Look Like

Black Ops 3

During a livestream today we had a good look at Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's Nuk3town Bonus Map that gamers who pre-ordered Black Ops 3 will be tearing up when the game launches

You've been good all week and it's time for a treat given the Halloween season and that is what we have for you in the way of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's Nuk3town map that has been revealed to the world today. It may not be candy or sweets but at least Treyarch had something to give us today for Black Ops 3 and it looks like they have taken the good old map and given it an amazing make over for those who pre-order the game. I guess that is the little trick that Activision has set up to get the treat here. Not that it will stop Call Of Duty from getting one of their favorite maps into Black Ops 3.

Of course you read all of that and it should be stated that the Nuk3town map for Black Ops 3 is only slated for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game with the PS4 getting a lock on all of the DLC content a month in advance. Not only that but this isn't you Black Ops map that has been ported over. It is a re-designed version of the map that fits into the Black Ops 3 world and also to accommodate for the different movement options that will be coming right along with it. So it may not feel as familiar as all you campers may remember. That could be good or bad based on your stance of that.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 — Nuk3town

This fan favorite map from Black Ops has returned in a big way for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It has been re-designed from the ground up to highlight Treyarch’s new momentum-based, chained-movement system, allowing players to battle in this adrenaline-charged new NUK3TOWN map. Set in the year 2065, players will experience a fresh take on this classic run-and-gun, close-quarters multiplayer map.

It does feel like this map for Black Ops 3 really only holds the title and a few aspects of the original version but that of course is an opinion all based on what was shown in the trailer above. I am sure that someone out there will spin up video of the old map and compare it side-by-side to the Black Ops 3 version that Treyarch re-designed it to so we'll have to look out for that but just from this that is all I can see. Either way it is another map for the Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer so it will at least add variety even if it can't hit on all of the nostalgic items from the first time around. Time will tell though.

What do you think though? Does this Nuk3town map for Black Ops 3 look as much as it can to the original map? Do you think it is just a naming convention and only small elements from Treyarch mad it over? Do you have to wait the extra time due to platform choice for Black Ops 3? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. The release date for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is almost upon us but if Activision has more to share with us all we will have those updates here so be sure to keep checking back in.
