See How Much One Life Matters In Umbrella Corps

Umbrella Corps

New gameplay for Umbrella Corps' One Life mode has been released and it shows off the high-paced action that Umbrella Corps is aiming for

Last month we had the announcement of Umbrella Corps. This would be the latest multiplayer, survival horror, shooter title that Capcom is working on while we all wait for Resident Evil 7 but still keeping us locked into the franchise's lore and horror. Given the fact it is set after RE6 Umbrella Corps will most likely bridge the gap. Bridge the gap by allowing us to go crazy, balls to the wall shooting each other in modes like the One Life mode that we now get to see in action for Umbrella Corps. Yes. That means new gameplay for the PS4 and PC title.

In Umbrella Corps' One Life mode each of the members on your squad get, and hopefully you guessed it, one life per round. So when the enemy takes you down or vice versa they stay down until the next round and a victor is declared. I don't think it could be more straight forward than that but it is what we get to look at for Umbrella Corps here and keep us all looking forward to everything else that Capcom is going to thrust into this game. For instance, all of the new weapons and gear that will be in the RE universe thanks to Umbrella Corps here.

In this instance here words will not do any of this any justice here for Umbrella Corps. You really need to see things in action as the first trailer did show off an amazing looking squad based shooter but here we get to see the squad not always being a squad and how useless some of these new items in Umbrella Corps can be. This could be based on the players and not the actual use but you'd think that Capcom would get experienced players to show off Umbrella Corps in this first real gameplay match for the game. Crazier things have happened though…

Umbrella Corps — Gameplay

Do you see the sloppiness as I do in Umbrella Corps? Do you also think this is a stop gap to tide all of us RE fans over until the next big addition into the franchise? Could Umbrella Corps be a great thing like Ground Zeroes was for The Phantom Pain? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and discuss until the zombies take the world. It looks like Capcom is ready to share as much as possible for Umbrella Corps now so I have a feeling we will be seeing more soon and when that happens you know we will have all of that right here for you. Stay tuned!
