A new trailer for Final Fantasy XV has been released and it continues the 'story' started with the Final Fantasy XV Gamescom trailer
The above title may not be 100% accurate as we are not getting the full story of Final Fantasy XV shown off via trailers before it launches next year on the PS4 and Xbox One. What is truly meant here is that Square Enix has given us more of the visual story that they started with the Gamescom trailer that pulled on the heartstrings of many a gamer out there. At least those gamers out there who have some kind of soul and feelings in their body. Or really anyone who is going to fully appreciate Final Fantasy XV in the long run. But none the less we have more of this tale shown off in what looks like gameplay given the franchise's track record with exactly that.
It is interesting to note here for Final Fantasy XV that this new bit focuses a little more on Luna and a little less on Noctis than before. It looks to depict what can only be assumed to be the turning point in Luna's history that led her on the path we will see in Final Fantasy XV. Do all characters in Final Fantasy have to have some kind of tragic event or histories befall them? Can we not just have someone out killing monsters and saving the day because they enjoy it? If that is the case I don't see Final Fantasy XV breaking the mold given what we have been shown but it still is rather impressive and I won't lie; I'll play the fuck out of this game when it comes.
Final Fantasy XV — Dawn 2.0
Just in case you wanted more for Final Fantasy XV than just some great visuals and an little taste of a story, it looks like Square Enix has also put together a nice little montage video to show us where the team received some of their inspiration for the game. Some in terms of the locations in Final Fantasy XV and it looks like some for the creatures and monsters we will be hunting down and killing for precious XP and in-game money. There are a few little gameplay elements mixed into the video here so it is worth a watch for those who want as much Final Fantasy XV as they can get but it is more of a developer diary for those who think they are a waste of time.
