If you want to see a lot of new Mad Max gameplay then you came to the right place. At least you came to the right place today as if you have been as overly excited for Mad Max as I have been you would have been able to see all of this yesterday when Avalanche Studios held a live stream event to show it all off. So you'll only be about a day behind everyone else but at least you are going to get to see the open world of Mad Max in all of its glory as well as a few other things that Warner Bros. haven't allowed to be shown until now. At least shown on the grander scale of things for Mad Max and the major conventions it has made its way to already.
Some of the fun things you'll see here for Mad Max, that goes out the way to not spoil anything for the game's story, would be a lot of the close combat fighting, a lot of the car combat in the Wasteland, a lot of blood, a lot of explosions, a bit on how we can upgrade Max in the game, and finally how we will explore the map in other ways than driving. In fact that last bit there is one of my favorite things here for Mad Max as it kind of flips the traditional "events apprear on the map" gameplay for open world games. In Mad Max we will be required to use Hot Air balloons to scout out through the wastelands and as we spot things they will be added to our map. Not a bad idea there Avalanche Studios.
Of course you are not going to want to sit here reading my words all day for Mad Max so go ahead and just jump on down to the hour of gameplay footage we now have for the game. Like I said; it is more of the open world stuff and the developers having fun with Mad Max instead of the traditional "Explain Everything" gameplay that I am sure Warner Bros. would have wanted instead. None the less you will learn a lot more about Mad Max than ever before in the following video.
Mad Max — Gameplay
With that you have now experienced a lot of Mad Max's open world gameplay. Now what do you think? How about that need to actually scout out the lands to find locations and events in the game? Good choice or bad choice on Avalanche Studios's side? Doesn't it look a lot like Batman's combat made it into Mad Max but in the best way possible? Let us know down in the comments and discuss. We only have a few more weeks until Mad Max is released so I bet that Warner Bros. will be kicking up the promotional matereals here in short order so be sure to keep checking on here for all things Mad Max.
