Have A Look At The New Zombies For Call Of Duty: Black Ops III

It is no surprise that Zombies was coming back to Call Of Duty: Black Ops III at all. Treyarch and Activision have been pretty forth coming with that news. What they haven't been so forthcoming with would be the visuals and the details for what we can expect to experience in Black Ops III's zombie mode. As you should expect though, as this would be pointless if it wasn't the case, that was until this year's SDCC where they had a whole lot to show off for the mode on the PS4 version of Call Of Duty: Black Ops III and we have some to show you now. It should be safe to assume that this will be the same for the Xbox One and PC versions as well but the PlayStation versions are getting the exclusive treatment this go around.

Before I let you dig into that Black Ops III Zombies reveal trailer though it is fully worth noting that unlike other Call Of Duty's it looks like we are getting a zombies mode outside of the setting of the main campaign and multiplayer modes. That is that Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies takes place in the 1940's Film-Noir era where we will take over one of the four playable characters for some good old zombie killing fun. They would be The Magician (Jeff Goldblum), The Femme-Fatale (Heather Graham), The Cop (Neil McDonough), and The Boxer (Ron Perlman) all unwittingly brought into an unraveling experience masterminded by the mysterious Shadow Man (Robert Picardo). All in good fun of course.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops III — “Shadows Of Evil” Zombies Reveal

As if the main reveal for Black Ops III's zombie mode wasn't good enough we also have a look at one of the maps we will get to hunt and kill on when the game launches. This map is called The Giant and it is a re-hash of the classic Der Riese zombies map Treyarch made so long ago. Not only a re-hashing but a continuation of the story that was set up for Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo. Now we can get more there as well as see a bit of "time travel" in the mix of things for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III. I wonder if that will be making its way into the core game too. Seems like it could but who knows but the developers. At least Activision isn't letting that info loose yet. Maybe soon.
