It wouldn't be another week in gaming news without yet another Overwatch gameplay video it would seem. This of course means that Blizzard has released yet another look at a character for the game and this time it is in the terms of Symmetra. That seriously sounds like a name that would be used for GWAR but as they have yet to claim affiliation with Overwatch we'll just go with a happy coincidence here. Weird name or not we have yet more gameplay for the game and the new character to have a look at. Thankfully she is another one of those quiet heroines here in Overwatch.

From the looks of things here for Symmetra, she is one of the support characters in Overwatch. At least that is how it looks as she places turrets to protect the object, places teleporters for quick team movement, and also placed a little force field around allies in, what I can assume, an attempt to keep them in the fight to stop the rush. There may be a bit more to the character in Overwatch but based on what we get to see here the only thing I missed on was her Portal looking gun to attack with. By Portal looking I mean the art style and not that the game will cross over with Overwatch in anyway here.

As with all of the other Overwatch videos, you don't have to take just my word for it. Have a look at the new footage and character showcasing here. Now to go check and see if GWAR is in fact lending their naming style to Overwatch or if I need to broaden my music tastes.
