If you still are holding out on pre-ordering Batman: Arkham Knight for some reason it looks like you are being given another reason to finally pull the purchase trigger on it. Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have released the first look at the Harley Quinn DLC that will be coming along with said pre-order for Batman: Arkham Knight. Not only that but it is kind of shown how this is going to be a bit more than challenge maps with the character but actually have a full story expansion. Of course this leads to the question of "why not include it in all versions of Batman: Arkham Knight?" Enough of that, let's dig into what we can see here.
In normal DLC mode there isn't much shown off here outside of "just enough" to tip you over to the Batman: Arkham Knight pre-order side of the fence sadly. It does look like Harley is going to have all of her own movements and attacks in the game as well as a "detective mode" of sorts. I am a bit curious on the explanation there as Catwoman had a good reason in Arkham City and Harley really doesn't have a thing to go on in general. Either way it's a gameplay mechanic that is needed so I am sure Rocksteady will figure out a good way other than "it's a gameplay mechanic and there is no real story reason for it all like Joker's X-ray glasses and the Cat-sense."
Enough of me flapping my fingers here for the Arkham Knight DLC. Have a look at what is going on for Harley and maybe this will make up your mind better than the Red Hood DLC that is all over the other commercials now.
