Why I Think The Fallout 4 Leaks Pretty Much Confirm Its Coming

For the past few years Fallout fans have been in a frenzy trying to predict when we would get an announcement for Fallout 4 or another title in the franchise. Some highly dedicated fans have even pulled off elaborate hoaxes; like the Survivor 2299 hoax. Many believe this year at E3 Bethesda's big announcement will include Fallout 4.

Regardless of when, we all know a new Fallout game is coming. As far back as January of 2013 when Erik Todd Dellums, the actor who voices the Galaxy News Radio disc jockey in Fallout 3, made hints we would be seeing more Three Dog in the future. Later that year fans blew up the internet over supposed leaked Fallout 4 scripts. Along the way more and more little tidbits keep getting dropped. The latest storm of Fallout 4 news come from Luis Nieves a freelance 3D artist who is well known in the games industry. His LinkedIn account can only be viewed from an upgraded account but at the top of his profile was a listing saying that he had worked on the Fallout 4 cinematic trailer from December of last year to March of this year.

Two things that make this some of the most tangible evidence that Fallout 4 could be here sooner rather than later is the fact that he is a professional and not just someone looking for fifteen minutes of fame. The second thing is, soon after the leak he removed the listing from his profile. Mirada Studios responded to Destructoid demanding that they remove the story because it was breaking a non-disclosure agreement. In an update Destructoid put out that no one from their side had signed a NDA. This seemingly confirms that Luis was indeed working on a Fallout 4 trailer thus confirming Fallout 4 inadvertantly.

While I prefer to not jump the gun the evidence is pretty conclusive. It certainly is exciting to get this tiny morsel of Fallout news. Hopefully after years of waiting we will get to see Luis's work if Bethesda does announce Fallout 4 at this year's E3. For those of you not attending this year's E3 Bethesda will be live streaming their panel on their Twitch account so you can keep up to date on all of their news as well if Fallout 4 is officially shown to the world.
