Just when we all thought we were done with the Mortal Kombat X news and updates until sometime after April 14^th, they pull us all back in. This time it is with another look at the Faction Wars that will be going on behind the scenes as well as in our faces once NetherRealm is able to get those servers online. The Faction War is the metagame that will be going on as everyone plays Mortal Kombat X online or offline by contributing "faction points" for finishing parts of the game or challenges set out by the studio. This has all been glossed over before in the past but not much in the way of seeing things has been available.

Here we go with yet another trailer though for Mortal Kombat X and it shows just a bit of what the Faction War will consist of as well as one of the cool perks we can all gain while playing. This of course being the Faction Kills which are just another form of Fatality for the system that is tailored just for the faction you choose when booting up the game. I am pretty sure we are seeing one for the Special Forces one down below but that's only based on the characters fighting. It is worth noting again that you are not locked to a character set based on the Faction selected. So Kotal Kahn could technically call down the air strike kill in Mortal Kombat X you are about to see.
