ScreamRide had to be one of the more bizarre titles I saw at E3 during the Microsoft Conference. This would be the title from Frontier Developments where we will get to make some insane roller coaster or amusement rides all in the vein of generating screams. More or less a torture simulator when you split hairs only that the NPCs involved in the game don't seem to get injured and love being placed in life-threatening situations. Most people wouldn't find ScreamRide fun, I would think, if there were truly being injured. That would make the game more like Hatred wouldn't it?
All jesting aside though, ScreamRide is coming to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 in two weeks and we have a new launch trailer for the game to look at. Not only that but starting today (2/17/15) you can download a demo for ScreamRide to try out the three different career modes and all the fun and insanity that the game has to offer. That way you can be fully educated once the game fully launches on March 3rd. I am not sure if there will be a small sampling of each of the 50+ levels and editor for ScreamRide but I guess we can all see that at our own leisure.
Have a look now at the new trailer for ScreamRide and get yourself ready for it to come home for now. It looks like it could have some fun potential but definitely is not for everyone. It does look to be a great deviation from the developer's normal style of games though so that could be some fun innovation. I guess we'll all find out.
