Ready Or Not, Evolve Is Coming For Us All

Here we go with another live action trailer and this one is for Evolve. As would normally be the case I would harsh on a live action trailer here but for this game I'll give it kind of a pass as we have been inundated with gameplay and information for Evolve for so long. If you haven't seen any gameplay or even played the game slightly on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC then you most likely don't care about Evolve at all and clicked in here because you are doing a school report on evolution. Thanks for the click.

That all said, this live action trailer for Evolve while kind of a cool piece of promotion kind of has a "bully" feel to it. Maybe it is just me and how I am looking at the world but at first I don't see four friends chasing down another friend for fun. Instead I see four friends chasing down some kid in a weird form of messed up children's game. Granted this is kind of the premise of Evolve as you have four hunters (friends) chasing down and killing the monster (the other kid). See what I am talking about here? Maybe not. Have a look at the trailer so you can be on the same page with me.

Evolve — Live Action Trailer

Now do you see what I mean? It fits when you know everything about Evolve already and once you get to the end of the first "hunt" and the action picks up again with another of the friends. It just seems off to me and a weird piece of marketing for Evolve. Then again, who am I to tell 2K and Turtle Rock how to use their money to get people to buy their game? It's not like I am a consumer or can see them using the funds for other things as we are already for Evolve to come home already. Who would want to save money after all?

Evolve is launching next week on February 10th so we'll see how it does then. How excited are you? Did you think the same way I did? Am I full of it? Let us know down below.
