Dead Rising: Watchtower Doesn't Look To Bad For A Game Film

Here we go with the first trailer for Dead Rising: Watchtower. This would be the release first from Legendary Digital Media based on the video game franchise of the same name. Well at least part of the same name. It is also slated to be streamable for all on Crackle this coming March 27th. On top of all of that, it actually looks to be full of all of the fun and humor we've come to love in the Dead Rising franchise even though it definitely has that made for TV feel. The biggest difference in that aspect though is that unlike Sharknado and other films made in the same vein, Dead Rising: Watchtower is looking to work and not mock us gamers.

I won't hold you back. Have a look at the first trailer for Dead Rising: Watchtower. If you need a bit of context before you watch, here's the synopsis of the film.

Dead Rising: Watchtower takes place during a large-scale zombie outbreak. When a mandatory government vaccine fails to stop the infection from spreading, the four leads must evade infection while also pursuing the root of the epidemic, with all signs pointing to a government conspiracy. Politics, public paranoia, and media coverage play an important role in the story’s narrative.

Dead Rising: Watchtower — Trailer

See what I mean? Dead Rising: Watchtower already has all of the made up weapons, weird zombies, and fun we've grown to love from Capcom's title. It even has Rob Riggle as Frank West. I find him to be extremely funny and entertaining and so far even with the 15 seconds of footage for him in Dead Rising: Watchtower I can't wait for March 27th to get here. I'm also glad that it is going to be getting the home streaming treatment so I don't have to bother with going out in public to sit in a dark room with humans I could care less about. This really should be the future.

So now how excited for Dead Rising: Watchtower are you? Do you think it will be just as amazing as the franchise has been or do you think it is going to suck big, floppy, horse cock? Let us know just below.
