If you happened to miss your chance to play the Evolve alpha test in the not too distant past then we have a bit of good news for you. It looks like another big test is on its way to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in the next few weeks. In fact we are talking that you Xbox One gamers out there can have Evolve as soon as October 30th and the rest on October 31st. Granted that is all based on if you have a code to use to register for a chance to play 2K Games' and Turtle Rock's massive monster hunter title. That is where the good news continues for you as we have a code that will work to get all of you locked into having a chance to play the Evolve alpha.

Notice I stated could be as the whole system is set up like a lottery still even though it makes no sense at this stage. Back when you could only get codes during trade shows or online giveaways it made sense for the exclusivity but the code we just gave you looks to be able to be used thousands of times. At this point it makes no sense to require the code if they are effectively letting anyone with an email register for a chance to get in on the alpha here.
Maybe I'm just missing something here outside of the team's most likely stress testing Evolve's servers in the guise of letting many players in. That at least looks like the tactic that is used so often to make us feel special while providing free QA for the companies. I'm not complaining there I just wish we would get an upfront statement instead of the PR hype that generally follows all of this. None the less though it looks like we all may be in shooting, hunting, and killing each other in Evolve here during the best holiday of the year. What a way to end the year here.
