Well here is a bit of bad news and good news for The Evil Within. The bad news is that we are all going to have to wait another two extra months to get our hands on this fright filled game from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks. I have been so looking forward to this title since I first hand my mind broken by the gameplay footage that has been shown. Now the wait is going to be a bit longer to make sure that The Evil Within is completely polished and ready for our gamer minds to devour.
The good news is that we have a few new looks at The Evil Within via screen shots and a nice little trailer showing "non-actors" playing the game and shitting themselves. I've always had a hard time believing that there are humans this pansy in the world to be affected by a game or movie in the ways shown in the trailer below. Maybe there is some agency that hires out weak humans for these kinds of things and promotional trailers for movies like Paranormal Activity. You know, so you can call them non-actors but still get 'canned' kind of responses.
Here, have a look at all the goodies we have for The Evil Within.
Oh, one more bit of good news for those who like to pre-order games. It looks like we will be getting a whole slew of in-game perks for pre-ordering The Evil Within from your chosen pre-order location. Most of which just sounds like skill and weapon perks more than anything but none the less here is what comes in the The Fighting Chance pre-order pack.
The Fighting Chance Pack includes:
- Medical Kit — A vital health enhancement to enable Sebastian to fight on.
- Green Gel — Used to upgrade Sebastian’s attributes.
- Double Barrel Shotgun and Three Shells — A larger and more formidable shotgun than the regular shotgun, it's useful for tight situations with multiple encroaching enemies.
- An Incendiary Agony Bolt — Capable of showering nearby enemies with damaging fire sparks.
- A Poison Agony Bolt — Will draw enemies towards it and poison them, allowing Sebastian time for a quick escape.
Sounds like a whole bunch of things we will need when The Evil Within lands on October 21st. I am guessing that we will hear more about the skills, attributes, and health structures here at E3. That is if The Evil Within is one of the titles that Bethesda wants to show off at the convention. We'll see. Until then it is time to sit and wait for more to come out for The Evil Within.
