As is not to be surprised, as it was announced a while ago, the film Kick Ass has a game coming out. Coming out as in tomorrow (4/15) to meet the launch date of the film which is Friday (4/16). Yet another in the string of movie based video games coming out this year. Well that come out pretty much every year there is a big budget film to milk for money. Still waiting on Spaceballs: The Videogame Mr. Brooks.

In any instance, here are some new looks at the game coming to an iPhone, iPad and PSN near you. Fresh with looks at Hit Girl, Big Daddy (Not From Rapture) and Kick Ass himself. All done in a Watchmen meets Marvel Ultimate Alliance style of gameplay. Violent, bloody and full of humor surrounding a hero getting his ass kicked a bunch. Oh, and playing the game also unlocks special items surrounding the franchise as well. For instance, a free digital copy of the first Kick Ass Comic.

I will say that I am excited for the film to come out, but the game I am hesitant. As to be expected with any game based on a film. As we all know they are rushed, buggy products which lack any kind of real semblance of the film/comic's story. We'll just have to wait and see. We might be surprised by it all.
