With The Talos Principle 2 being out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, many gamers have had a chance to see the fun hidden within the game. From the new story that Croteam has for us all to dig into to all of the new puzzles we get to explore. Now, since it is a very slow news day, we have a look at something else hidden about in The Talos Principle 2. That being the plethora of cats that are roaming the world. Something that will obviously get many out there curious about while also making others start to make their own theories on things. Like if this is also in the same universe as other video games as Stray. It is not but I have already heard those murmurs out there, so now you have to.
While there have been some fun and great things heard about The Talos Principle 2, it seems as if there is another push out there to get more gamers into the game here. That is we have a push with cats being everywhere in the game. A weird thing to do, but something that does get the internet up and ready to head into digital spaces to try and pet these things. That is how all of this is reading here for me, but it does add a fun and new look at The Talos Principle 2 for those that need a break from the dark and gritty titles that just launched out there today too. It is an odd thing to have in the mix, but as I said, it is a slow news day here and we need to have a look at something soft and cuddly to get more of us diving into the world once more. Am I right?
The Talos Principle 2 — A Cat Tribute
The Talos Principle 2, Devolver Digital and Croteam’s critically acclaimed puzzle game, has been bending minds and provoking thoughts for a week now. Players love the beautiful environments, captivating story, intriguing mystery, and satisfying puzzles.
But they also love the cats. From the kitties prowling the streets of New Jerusalem, to the dearly departed feline friends memorialized in Milton’s Rest, this is a game steeped in cats.
That’s the inspiration for this new trailer focusing on the furriest members of the game’s cast. It seems humanity’s love of cats will endure long after we’ve abandoned our fleshly bodies.
Does any of this make you want to head out and pick up The Talos Principle 2 or did you already dig into all of this beforehand?
