Pooh Bear Is Coming To Hunt Us Down In Hundred Acre Wood

Hundred Acre Wood

New footage for Hundred Acre Wood is out there to show off another dark and twisted version of the Hundred Acre Wood

It looks as if putting horror into those beloved children's stories are still a big thing with a new look at Hundred Acre Wood. This is an upcoming cosmic horror survival title that takes us back to the titular forest where we will need to help rescue Christopher Robin from some horrid eldritch beasts that have taken the form of his cuddly friends. All with the help of some serious firepower and other things as we go through the mind-bending lands of the Hundred Acre Wood. Now, though, we have a look at how the development of this title has been going on the PC. So, get ready to have some of those horror itches scratched as we dive right into it all.

As you can see below in the new gameplay for Hundred Acre Wood, it looks as if we will be doing our fair share of platforming in the game along with a lot of running away too. It looks as if Winne-The-Pooh is going to be like a Nemesis-style character in the game that we will just always need to outrun. All to get to the safety of some light, rather like Alan Wake. A solid touch along with the twisted versions of the other characters in the world too. Even if it is weird to see a massive alligator attacking us here. Maybe there is a good reason for this in the Hundred Acre Wood, but my guess is that it is to give us something more to do in the game along with the setting looking as if it all fits. Have a look for yourself.

I am all for games like Hundred Acre Wood and am excited to see where this one ends up going. It definitely looks like it is being done by a small team, and it is, so there is a bit of an uphill battle they are going to have to get this one going for the masses. I just hope that I am seeing a true game here with Hundred Acre Wood and not a group of people trying to capitalize on what others are doing with the IP now that it is in the public domain. Ruin my childhood all day by making them horror-based. Just do it well and not for a quick buck because the internet will be making it a big thing for a bit. I know, the irony is not lost on me with what I just typed there.

What do you think about Hundred Acre Wood based on the new gameplay we all have here? Do you think this will truly be a passion project as we have seen with Alice In Wonderland or will it be more like Blood & Honey? Head into the comment section below to discuss all of this and everything else that we have to share out there. We will have more for Hundred Acre Wood as it drops out there, so please keep on checking in for all of those updates and many others as we get ready to march into the future.
