Dust & Neon Will Be Blasting Onto A Few More Platforms Soon

Dust & Neon

More platform releases for Dust & Neon have been announced to round out all of the main platforms Dust & Neon will hit

Those trigger fingers should still be ready here for Dust & Neon, as the game is coming to even more platforms out there. It may have felt like this was one of those titles that Rogue Games would have hit all the platforms right out of the gate, but only hit the various PC stores and the Switch. Now, at least on August 17th, those looking to have fun with Dust & Neon on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will have that chance. That is when the game is set to come out blasting on the other platforms in full form and with a few more things that we might not have known were on the way already. That is where things could get a little interesting.

This new drop for Dust & Neon will be bringing along some new missions, bombs to defuse, radio beacons to defend, and a whole new Challenge Area into the mix. Presumably, this will hit the other platforms too, but so far it is only listed in this new drop. All to better get us into the twin-stick shooter roguelite experience that the game is holding. That is so many different adjectives to give here, but it is what it is. I hope you are ready for a wild time in Dust & Neon if you have not already made the leap in on the other platforms. It is always the issue when it comes to splitting the releases and launching of these things out there. Have a look and see what is on the way.

Dust & Neon — Console Release Date

Get on your boots and warm up those trigger fingers! Rogue Games and David Marquardt Studios have announced that award-winning twin-stick cover-based roguelite shooter Dust & Neon will spin its spurs on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 17. As the Grand Winner of the NYX Game Awards 2023, Dust & Neon fires away with loads of unique revolvers, shotguns, rifles, and laser weapon drops - now with a caboodle of new missions and features packed in for good measure! Reload those guns with perfect timing to stay ahead of the curve and decommission those dimwitted robot overlords once and for all.

In Dust & Neon’s brand new missions, would-be outlaws will defend radio beacons, defuse bombs, and take down adversarial automatons in the Challenge Arena. If that ain’t enough, players can brandish new laser weapons or test their aim against the new boss rotation system if they’re feeling lucky. Better get your boots on. It’s gonna be a wild new ride!

Dust & Neon stars a mysterious cyborg gunslinger. After he’s brought back to life by the rat-chasing mad scientist Dr. Finkel, our hero must embark on a Wild West tale through the robot apocalypse in order to restore the world to its former glory. Shoot your shot with the Furious Dual Barrel Embrace of Death, the Frenetic Top Loaded Twenty-Two, or a fierce array of other feisty firearms. Keep those chambers loaded, y’all. You never know when it’s time for the next high-caliber showdown.

Dust & Neon will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 17. The game is now available on Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Dust & Neon feels like a title that is taking a lot thrown at a wall and a lot of it sticking. Between automatons and the wild west, one would think this to be enough. Then we toss in the roguelite and shooter aspects, and now we are getting even more to try to manage in the mix. It looks like it could be a wild and fun ride, but also like it can be a little much for many gamers out there. Maybe we need to start looking at limiting things down to be able to hit all of the platforms at the same time while also giving us a solid game. Then again, Dust & Neon could be doing that, and gamers like me have just been missing out up until August 17th now.

Were you worried that Dust & Neon would never hit the other systems out there or was it all just a matter of time? How do you think these new missions and everything else will expand the game or will it just be more of the same loop we have seen before? Will the other platforms get the same updates or will they let the new platforms have the exclusive bits for a little while instead? Head on down to the comment section and then let the discussion flow out there for this one. If we have anything else to share for Dust & Neon, we will share it all here. Please keep on coming back to see and hear all of that as we head forward into the future for all of the games out there.
