by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed Netflix will be bringing us more Assassin’s Creed with a new live-action Assassin’s Creed show and a few animated ones It looks like we will be bursting at the seams for new Assassin’s Creed content, as it looks like we will be seeing a series on Netflix sometime in the future. Not just one series but multiple that range from a live-action show to an animated show to the new anime-style shows that the streaming service has been putting out there. The number of different shows and seasons for these Assassin’s Creed series is not totally confirmed, but it looks like the latest film will not be the last time that Ubisoft tries to get the IP outside of the video game realm. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of September 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
White Shadows White Shadows is announced here to bring us an interesting looking new platformer with an interesting looking world too Here we go with another stylized platformer with White Shadows getting the announcement for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The next big one to come out of Headup that takes on the black and white style of visuals for the game with a few other twists. Twists like having hybrid human and animal characters for the White Shadows and a broken-down circus to build part of the world. Not a direct style we can label, but a style that has been chosen and worked well for many other titles in the past. Read More...

Cuphead Is Getting Its Own Animated Netflix Show
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Cuphead A new Cuphead animated show is on its way to Netflix in the way of The Cuphead Show! using everything we loved about the game It feels like we are going back in time to a point where every video game needed a TV show tie-in as it looks like Cuphead will be getting the treatment now. Not exactly the title I am sure many of you were expecting to hear about, but it would seem that Studio MDHR selling over four million copies of the game would grab the eye of Netflix to try to set something up. On top of the classic animation style Cuphead already holds, I can see why they would want to snatch this one up and ride the success. Even as we all wait for that sweet DLC to still come out after the game being out for years already. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of March 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The Beast Inside New gameplay of The Beast Inside’s current demo is out there now and it gives a better taste of what horror The Beast Inside will have for us The Beast Inside just recently kicked off the Kickstarter campaign to get the game funded and brought to completion. Since it launched it has been kicking ass and taking names as it is almost at its base goal with just under a month left to go. It looks like many out there are digging what Illusion Ray has to offer and want to see it come to completion. As things are in the world though, there are many who are on the fence for The Beast Inside, as they like to see some kind of substance of a game or item before throwing their hard-earned cash at it. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The Beast Inside The Kickstarter campaign for The Beast Inside is in full swing and now gamers who were interested in The Beast Inside can help fund the game and see what could be coming Here we go with another video game trying to get off the ground through Kickstarter, as the campaign for The Beast Inside is underway. Well, it has been underway for a few days now, but I would be remiss if I did not pass the information along to you so you too can help Illusion Ray get the funds needed to finish up the game. I say finish up as it does look like The Beast Inside has had a whole lot of work already done on it and even if the Kickstarter fails, I am sure there will be a release from Movie Games at some point down the line. Take To The Sky With New Gameplay For The New Title
by Duke Searles [ Friday, 17th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Sky We have some new gameplay for Sky to look at and see how Sky will be the same but different from the dev's other titles out there It has been a bit since we all first heard about ThatGameCompany's upcoming title Sky or at least saw any gameplay for the iOS title. A few months at this point, but now we are back to see some new footage for the game as well as have some of the developer's commentary on just what is going on in the game. We already knew that there would be a social aspect to it all as well as the ability to fly around the world, but here we get to see just how some of that plays into the larger side of Sky at the end of the day. It also looks like Light and Darkness will play into the core of it all as well which is something we have not seen until now. Read More...

Get Ready To Take To The Sky With ThatGameCompany's Next Title
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 13th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Sky The next title from ThatGameCompany has been announced, Sky, and it looks to do just what the title says by taking us on an adventure in the Sky It looks like the wait for whatever the next title ThatGameCompany is working is now over as we just had the announcement that it is a title named Sky. It is nice, simplistic, and looks to use the same gameplay modes that the developer has used for so long to make some amazing title. The only truly weird part is that Sky will be coming to the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV before anywhere else. Read More...

The Secret World Is Getting Optioned For Its Own TV Series
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Secret World It looks like The Secret World is finally going to be a TV series as a show based on The Secret World and its rebranding has been announced It only took about a decade but it looks like what I was hoping for with The Secret World is finally happening as it is being picked up for its very own TV series. That's right, the dark and horror filled MMO from Funcom is finally getting expanded into a series that will delve deeper into the world and secrets hidden within it. Not that the game or its rebranding of Secret World Legends doesn't do a great job of it already, but it will be fun to see a bit more of it all expanded upon and from others points of view. Review — Ratchet & Clank [Blu-Ray]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank Ratchet & Clank has recently hit the small screens of home with new content. We had a chance to sit down and break the film down piece by piece. Here is our review of Ratchet & Clank Maybe you remember back when Ratchet & Clank first came out and that there was a feature film that was slated to launch with it. It did launch in theaters shortly after the video game's launch and Insomniac Games had its IP all over the place for a short time. As films always do, Ratchet & Clank left the big screen and we were left with only the video game to keep us coming. Read More...
