Project LLL
We have a look at the MMO, Project LLL, that is on the way with Project LLL shaking things up a bit in the landscape that we once knew
I hope you are ready for another Sci-Fi dystopian future MMO, as that is what we have coming with NCSOFT's upcoming Project LLL. Another vague name that will be changed down the line, I am sure, once it is ready to launch on the PC and consoles in 2024. That is not why we are here for Project LLL, though, as to question the current title of it all would make us ignore the new gameplay we have to look at for the game. New gameplay that shows off the various timelines mangled together with mutants, demons, and humans all fighting to be the one on top of things in the world. Yes, that sounds a little all over the place, but it kind of works once you have a look at it all.
So, in Project LLL, it looks like the universe's timelines have all been mixed up with the 10th-century Byzantine Empire, post-apocalyptic Seoul, and the 23rd century all getting a nice crossover event. Not to mention that there are various mutants, monsters, and the like roaming about while we get to roll out in some high-tech gear. This will be the character we get to play as in Project LLL with the gear being tied more to the traditional "class" we get to play as. All as we join various factions and aim to keep humanity on some kind of living timeline along the way. It might be better if you just kick back and have a look at the gameplay we have to feature for you just a little lower down.
‘Project LLL’ — G-STAR 2023
‘Project LLL’ is an open-world MMO third-person shooter developed by NCSOFT. Players will interface with an expansive world filled with epic battles within a vast and dynamic environment. Offering a wide array of weapons and skill combinations, ‘Project LLL’ aims to offer an unparalleled gameplay experience.
Right out the gate, Project LLL is giving me a similar vibe to other third-person shooter MMOs out there and the normal grind that is going to be. There is a nice mixture of body horror mixed in, out of nowhere, that definitely has caught my eye. Even if it is in an MMO setting, unfortunately. There is still so much unknown for Project LLL, so it is hard to put a pin in what to expect or get excited for, so I will just have to leave it there. Especially since all we really had to see here for the crossover bits felt like the environment and nothing else more. So it would leave this one just set in a dystopian setting and the other timelines not truly playing a role in it all. At least as of yet.
Does Project LLL catch your eye if you are in need of a new MMO or do you need to know more about it all to get truly excited? How do you think the crossover bits will function and could they be a bigger role than just the setting? How do you feel about the amazing body horror in the mix and should that be its own game instead? Head into the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else we have to offer up to the world. More is coming for Project LLL, I am sure, so please keep on checking back for all of those updates and many others down the line.
