E3 2017 Impressions â A Plague Tale: Innocence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of June 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale While at E3 I was able to see A Plague Tale: Innocence in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on A Plague Tale: Innocence When you hear something like A Plague Tale: Innocence you instantly think of just an illness and maybe some innocent seeming people being affected by said illness. I know that is what I thought when I first heard about Asobo Studio's new title coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I won't lie, originally this wasn't much on my radar but Focus Home Interactive had me on over to have a look at a bit of the game here at E3 and it is a bit more that what I mentioned before. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Sunday, 11th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]

We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Straight From E3 2017 Not everything is going to be on the show floor of E3 2017 and because of that we have these huge press conferences and here we go with Microsoft's huge event just before the doors open for us all. Just as the games and announcements they have for E3 2017 not all of us will be able to be there on the show floor to see them as well. Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back Announced & Bringing Bubsy Out Of Retirement
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Bubsy A new Bubsy game has just been teased with Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back and it looks like we'll be hanging with this bobcat this September Here's a name I haven't heard in a while in gaming and now it looks like Bubsy is coming back with a new title called Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back. Maybe you remember the bobcat here from the past titles that Accolade had brought us but given that it has been about twenty years since then we can give a pass. None of that changes the fact that Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back has been announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with a hopeful release date in September for this platformer to finally make a comeback. Johnny Gat Is Back From Hell Just For Agents Of Mayhem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of June 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Agents Of Mayhem Pre-order bonuses for Agents Of Mayhem have been announced and they bring a Saints Row fan-favorite to Agents Of Mayhem as well as another Given that Agents Of Mayhem is kind of an off-shoot of Saints Row, in spirits and more, it would make sense that we would get some great crossovers between it and the other Volition titles here and now we have it. Johnny Gat will be making his way into the game here and giving us all a 13th agent to play and see what the canon ending of Gat Out Of Hell truly was. At least if you aim to pre-order Agents Of Mayhem from GameStop for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC before August 15th. Read More...

Red Hood Will Be Playable In Injustice 2 Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Red Hood has been slated to come to Injustice 2 in June and now we not only know when he'll join Injustice 2 but we can see more of his action If you've been keeping up with Injustice 2 since launch then it is no surprise to you that Red Hood is one of the DLC characters that will be coming to the game. Hells, if you've updated the game on the PS4 or Xbox One to the latest build that NetherRealm Studios has put out there then you definitely know as he and silhouettes of the other fighters can also be seen in the game. Pretty much as the team has been getting Injustice 2 ready for all of the future characters to flow on in and now it looks like June 13th will be the day that Red Hood becomes available to all those who want to play as him. Submit To Your Destiny & Story Of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new story trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has released and shows just what the new ring in Shadow Of War can and will do For a game that needed to be delayed until October 10th, there sure is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to go around here and I have a feeling there will be a lot more given its presence at E3 this year. If I had to guess it was less with Monolith Productions needing more time to polish or whatever and more to get the buzz going and the marketing campaigns to a high. Either way, there is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War out there to take in with more on the way and here we go today with more on the story with an official story trailer for the game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of June 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Vampyr Check out more of the locations for Vampyr in the E3 trailer as well as see Vampyr's Ascalon Club in action before the new release date It's time to start the fun for E3 here as the new basic trailers for games are starting to flow and here we go with Vampyr and its latest trailer to have a look at just before a huge showing on the floor out there next week. I have been excited for DontNod to bring us more for this game for some time now and am glad to see that we have a nice long trailer to look at here. If only it was more gameplay for Vampyr and less flying around to show off some of the world in the game. Read More...

Review â The Walking Dead: A New Frontier â From The Gallows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — From The Gallows. This is the final episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It may have had a slow start to get going, but here we go with the end of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season here. Technically this would be the end of the third season of the franchise from Telltale Games but given the new title it can be seen as its own thing in a shared universe. No matter which way you want to take it, here we are at the end of this season of The Walking Dead and in turn the conclusion of this story and hopefully closure on all of the other events and choices in the game so far. There's A Whole Lot Of ELEX Gameplay To Take In Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
ELEX New gameplay for ELEX has popped up online and we have about sixteen minutes of ELEX to pour through to and dissect now While it seems like there are a lot of titles out there trying to hold back new gameplay for E3 next week, it looks like some new footage for ELEX has been released out there by THQ Nordic to get us all riled up and ready for some newer footage soon. At least that is how I take the most recent look at Piranha Bytes' title here as we have do have a lot of gameplay in time but not much more than a lot of walking, jumping, and occasionally shooting. Yes, get ready for a lot of what looks like B-Roll here for ELEX but with a few new bits mixed in. Read More...

Minecraft: Story Mode Is Getting A 2nd Season To Build Off Part Of The 1st
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of June 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Minecraft It is official that Minecraft: Story Mode is getting a seond season and it will be bringing back a few of the Minecraft community members with it It seemed like it was "iffy" to me that Minecraft: Story Mode was going to be getting a full second season for fans to enjoy, all based on the eight episode season the first had, but as it looks there will be a season two. Today Telltale Games has announced that it is teaming up with Mojang again and bringing the episodic adventure back to carry on the adventures of Jesse in their own crafted world. Not only did they announce it, but Minecraft: Story Mode second season will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices on July 11th with the first episode. Read More...

Need For Speed Payback Is On Its Way & Looking For The Perfect Ride
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Need For Speed A new Need For Speed title is on its way as Need For Speed Payback has been announced and aims to pull into our homes this coming November Look out as we have a new driving game coming our way as Need For Speed Payback has been given the full announcement treatment and has already been given a release date for us to look to. The name may be a bit of a throw off for those who have been fans of the franchise for a while, but Payback is the latest from Ghost Games to come out for us on all the major platforms and coming on November 10th this year. Seems about right as there hasn't been much word on Need For Speed here in a while and now that we have word it makes sense to not have to wait too long to get it in our hands. Read More...

Review â The Walking Dead: A New Frontier â Thicker Than Water
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Thicker Than Water. This is the fourth episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did We've made it almost to the end of the story of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and things are starting to boil up and over for the group here. Just about right for the fourth episode of any of Telltale Games' titles out there and here we are with it. If I had to guess I'd say that this is about when the real twist that The Walking Dead is known to throw out there, or the gut punch as it may be, will hit us all. Read More...

The Pressure Is Almost On For Rocket In Guardians Of The Galaxy's Next Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy The official trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy's second episode is here and it looks like one of the Guardians Of The Galaxy will be getting a backstory expanded It was no big secret that the second episode of Guardians Of The Galaxy was coming this week as that was one of the big announcements that Telltale Games laid down for us not too long ago. It's landing on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices on June 6th, tomorrow, and it's been hyped up a bit to get everyone ready to continue on the story that has already begun. Mystical artifact, seems to be able to bring the dead back to life, the Guardians Of The Galaxy have it in their hands, and it looks like we may get to see where Rocket started his whole career from. ELEX Has Been Given A Release Date & Collectorâs Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
ELEX The wait for ELEX looks to be a little shorter than we all thought as the released date for ELEX has been set down and not too far off To me it feels like we are only now getting to know ELEX and just what the game could bring us when all is said and done. Maybe I was a little bit late to the part to check out this new title from Piranha Bytes or maybe I was too focused on other IPs that THQ Nordic has for us in the coming months and years. Either way, ELEX caught my attentions and now I am glad to see that it will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 17th now. Yes, we now have a solid release date for the game and hopefully it stays that way as we always need more titles to break up the cold and slow months. Read More...

Extinction Is Relentlessly Coming For Us All In 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Extinction Another new title, Extinction, has been announced just before E3 and we have a cinematic look at Extinction right now As if we didn't have enough games to look forward to already, it looks like we can add one more to the list as Extinction has just been announced by Maximum Games. While it does have a very post-apocalyptic sounding title, that isn't the case or was developers Iron Galaxy are aiming to bring us. In fact, Extinction's title is more along the lines of what you have to stop while set in a medieval setting where you are the lone hero trying to save everyone from a horde of massive ogres trying to murder everything in the area. You know, because that is just what Ogres do when not falling in love with donkey side-kicks and such. Read More...
