by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV The latest episode DLC for Final Fantasy XV has just dropped for Prompto, and we have a tease for Final Fantasy XV's Ignis to get his in December Well it looks like the wait is now over if you wanted to get more on the fan-favorite character for Final Fantasy XV. The Prompto "episode" DLC for the game drops today, June 27th, on the PS4 and Xbox One and it looks Like Square Enix has taken their time with it all to mix up some of the gameplay and other mechanics to make it feel truly new. In fact, in this episode it looks like we will get some third-person run and gun play in Final Fantasy XV in terms of combat and also a slick snowmobile to drive around as we will be in some of the snowy wastes of the game's world. All things that you would know if you were following along and/or picked up the Season Pass for the game. Read More...

Agents Of Mayhem Drops The Bombshells On Us All With New Characters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Agents Of Mayhem Three more characters for Agents Of Mayhem have been highlighted in a new trailer as the Bombshells in Agents Of Mayhem have been dropped Here we go with another trailer for Agents Of Mayhem to show off a bit of gameplay but also three new characters in the mix of things for the game. Maybe not completely new characters as Volition has shown the basic look of these characters already, but now the Bombshells, as they are called, have been shown off and a bit more in action. In action in Agents Of Mayhem but also with a bit more of the character descriptions for them as they have only been figures in the past trailers and on the promotional materials that Deep Silver uses for the game. This isn't a completely new fighter mind you but another from the NetherRealm Studios vault brought to us just for this game. He's already been announced, but now we know that Sub Zero will be coming to Injustice 2 on the PS4 and Xbox One on July 11th. Read More...

Observer Is Bringing The Hidden Horror & Catharsis 2.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Observer New gameplay for Observer from E3 has been released along with a description of how Observer is building its own sub-horror genre It looks like I missed out on Observer yet again at E3 this year, but it was only a miss by a little bit and I have recovered from it all. That is due to the fact that Bloober Team has released the gameplay that they were showing off out there at the expo, but also given the commentary as to what the end goal for the game is. Yes, Observer is another horror game set in a Cyberpunk setting, but it is using what they are calling Hidden Horror to drive the game forward instead of the high-action or pure gore that many other title rely on. Not that there is an issue with those titles, but this is not the game that we will see soon on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One this year. Read More...

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Gets A Few New Characters In The Mix With A Story Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom A bunch of new characters have joined in on Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite & you can play with some of them in the Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite story demo If you've been living under a rock then you may have missed out on the latest update for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite out of E3 this year. The game had more screen time out there and Capcom took to showing off a bit more of the game's story as well as giving us all a few more characters in the mix that we can now know we will play with. While I know there are some great characters that people are hoping to make it back in for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite, but with the latest update here I think you are going to be left wanting when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19th here. E3 2017 Impressions — ELEX
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
ELEX While at E3 2017 I was able to see ELEX in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on ELEX From E3. When I first heard of ELEX I was a little on the cautious side to get into the game at all out of fear that it would be just another bit of shovelware. It honestly looked like a weird mashing of Mad Max, something Sci Fi, and something fantasy all rolled up into one but thankfully Piranha Bytes was out at E3 this year to show off more of the game and I was lucky enough to sit down and have a look at it a bit more as well as get some questions answered about the game. Now my understanding of ELEX is a bit greater and here's what I can pass along to you to help you figure out if it will be on your gaming shelf here on October 17th on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Let's dive right in. Read More...

Have A Taste Of Beyond Good & Evil 2's In-Engine Tech Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Beyond Good & Evil At E3, Beyond Good & Evil 2 was officially announced and now we can see Beyond Good & Evil 2 running in-engine as well as some of the scale of the game's universe There has been one title on a lot of gamer's tongues and minds for quite some time now and with the rumors all over the place it was not that big of a shock that Ubisoft brought out the big guns at E3 and gave the world confirmation that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is going to be a thing. A big thing at that as they gave it a nice, long CG announcement trailer to build all of the hype. Hype that was built so much that I ran into quite a few people on the floor hoping to see some actual gameplay footage for Beyond Good & Evil 2 in some form or another. Read More...

Agony Will Take Us To The Floating Forest In The Latest Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Agony A lot more gameplay for Agony has just dropped and this bit shows off a new location in Agony as well as a lot more on the twisted visuals we will get to see Before all of the insanity that is E3 kicked off there was a little stir as Agony was hit with a delay due to it becoming a larger title for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime soon. There is no blaming Madmind Studio from taking the cash they just received and building onto the game to give us a truly horrific experience and game to play through. This would kind of also explain why Agony didn't seem to have any kind of presence out at the big convention this year in any physical means. Read More...

E3 2017 Interview — Werewolf: The Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Werewolf At E3 I was able to sit down and gather more information on Werewolf: The Apocalypse from Julien Desourteaux. Here's what I was able to get on Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Not all games that I was excited to learn more about at E3 were up and running on the show floor and Werewolf: The Apocalypse was one of them. Any gamer and fan of the franchise would have been excited to see what Cyanide Studio had for the game since it was only announced earlier this year and nothing else had been brought up about it. While Focus Home Interactive was featuring Werewolf: The Apocalypse at E3, there wasn't anything in terms of gameplay and the like out there, but that didn't mean we came up completely dry. E3 2017 Impressions — Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Extinction While at E3 2017 I was able to see Extinction in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Extinction From E3. Extinction was a title before E3 that had a pretty quick announcement and then turnaround to show off a bit more of the game. This would be the action-adventure, giant ogre killing title that we saw at the beginning of June from Iron Galaxy. You know the one hopefully. If not, don't worry as we were able to check out Extinction out at E3 so we could get a bit more familiar with this title before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in the near future. E3 2017 Impressions — Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Vampyr While at E3 2017 I was able to see Vampyr in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Vampyr From E3. We were all promised more for Vampyr at E3 this year and we were not let down. Even the bit that was shown off to the public out there was still a massive chunk of what DontNod has cooked up for us all. You can see some of that gameplay further down but it was only a small slice of what I was able to check out for Vampyr while on the show floor. While we may not have been able to pry out a solid release date in November for the game, Focus Home Interactive still has that on lock, we did get to see a lot more for this open-world horror title coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC where all of your killing choices in the game will have some form of effect on the rest of the world. Friday The 13th: The Game Is Going Retro With New & Free Updates
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th: The Game It looks like Friday The 13th: The Game is getting some new updates here with new clothes and a retro skin from the Friday The 13th game from the '80s If you jumped in on the Friday The 13th: The Game bandwagon from the start, you may be one of those out there who were being plagued too much by server issues and glitches in the game to find the enjoyment. You may also have been one of those gamers out there who happened to understand the growing pains that Illfonic and Gun Media were going through and gave them some leeway with it all and just enjoyed what you had so far. That seemed to be the split that happened for Friday The 13th that I saw online after it launched and spanned from not only the PC version but also the Xbox One and PS4 versions. Read More...

E3 2017 Impressions — Hunt: Showdown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Hunt While at E3 I was able to see Hunt: Showdown in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Hunt: Showdown. It's a bit odd but downright amazing that three years ago I was here to tell you all about a title called Hunt: Horrors Of The Gilded Age and just how amazing it looked and how excited I was for it. Then there wasn't a single word on it and Crytek went through a few shakeups and it was thought to be lost to the games of E3 that never came. Now we jump to this year and after having a small announcement, I was able to see Hunt: Showdown rise up from the ashes that was the other title and get me excited for the game again to come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. E3 2017 Impressions — Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu While at E3 I was able to see Call Of Cthulhu in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Call Of Cthulhu. There was a small list of titles at E3 that I desperately wanted to go hands on with at E3 and Call Of Cthulhu was one of those titles. I was so ever hopefully that Cyanide Studios would have had a nice little slice of the game out there to be played on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but sadly it was not. That is not to say that Focus Home Interactive didn't put together a nice booth and experience for Call Of Cthulhu though and that in turn led to a lot of new information and details for the gameplay and scope of the game to finally get out there. I wish I could show you more gameplay than what we had for the public out at E3, but for now here's what we have for it all as well as more on the ins and outs of the game. Read More...
