See More Of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy That Was Shown At E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Uncharted The extended demo for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has made its way online so those Uncharted who missed out at E3 can still check it all out One of the big highlights of the PlayStation media showcase at E3 this year was the inclusion of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as it is with the franchise almost every year. While it may not have been the title from Naughty Dog that everyone was hoping to see more for, there needed to be something given that it is hitting the PS4 on August 22nd and such. That and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy looks to be another fun addition to the overall franchise and who wouldn't want to see more for it? Read More...

E3 2017 Impressions — Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man While at E3 I was able to see Spider-Man in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Spider-Man. This was one of the bigger titles that had everyone on the E3 showfloor clamouring for more and that is about what we had for Spider-Man out here this year. It of course all kicked off with the new gameplay trailer for the game that Insomniac Games put together for the big PlayStation showcase, but then was followed up with another showing on the show floor in one of the PS4 showrooms. It wasn't any different part of Spider-Man, but it was a live demo of the same portion of the game where a few different things were shown off and explained a bit more than in the trailer we all have most likely seen a few times over already. Just like the Days Gone demo, I've added in the original gameplay trailer for Spider-Man that was shown and then will dive into the differences that were shown and explained behind the closed doors of the showroom. God Of War Shows Us How To Be A True Warrior
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War Another gameplay trailer for God Of War has been released and it also tells us God Of War will officially release in 2018 It's been almost a year since last we had anything solid to go on for God Of War as the last official showing was during the media briefing and E3 of 2016. I know there was a lot of hope that Santa Monica Studio would have had the game hitting the PS4 this year, but now it is confirmed that 2018 will be the year that Kratos is back and slaying all of the mythological beasts of Norse mythology. It is a wait, but given that this is the reboot that God Of War should be getting here, I'll wait the time to make sure we get another great experience out of it all. It would seem a bit of a waste if it was just Kratos going at all of these new gods for no other reason than they are gods and such. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit While at E3 I was able to see Detroit: Become Human in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Detroit: Become Human. With each new trailer for Detroit: Become Human, the game looks more and more impressive in terms of animation and visuals. There is no denying that Quantic Dream has something special here in terms fo all of that. While it is all nice to look at and experience, that, of course, does not make a game by itself and there should be a lot more to Detroit: Become Human to make it more than just a pretty walking simulator. Thankfully, before the major PlayStation conference, I was able to give a small demo of the game a spin to see just how it plays and if it will be a great experience on the PS4 when it finally launches. Uncharted The release date for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has been set and we can all look for more Uncharted to hit us this Summer The wait for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy…continues but as it turns out now, we have a final date we have to wait for as August 22nd has finally been set down as the day it launches on. Even though Naughty Dog is still working hard on it and only announced it not too long ago, we only have a few more months to wait before we have yet another journey in the game's universe. Especially since Uncharted: The Lost Legacy isn't just another DLC add-on to the last entry into the franchise but shaping up to be what sounds like its own game in general. Read More...

Review — Horizon Zero Dawn
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 6th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn We sit down and review Horizon Zero Dawn. An open world, post-apocalyptic, robot dinosaurs hunting game. Here's our review of Horizon Zero Dawn In Horizon Zero Dawn you play as Aloy who grows up as an outcast, and an orphan, raised in the wilderness by a man named Rost. He teaches to how to hunt and survive in the wild. One thing that kind of bugged me on a personal level was the names that Guerrilla Games came up with. I get what Guerrilla was trying to do with “Rost” as rust, “Aloy” as alloy, but even simple names from people before the apocalypse have dumb names. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death It has just been announced that Drawn To Death will be free for all PS Plus players out there and Drawn To Death will be bringing more exciting extras Back in February we had word that Drawn To Death finally had a set release date of April 4th but also that it was going to run the cost of $20 USD when it was first brought up as free-to-play. This brought on a lot of concern and questions for Bartlet Jones as to what had changed and if it would eventually become one of the titles that PS Plus brought us for free on our PS4. As it turns out, Drawn To Death will be coming to the PS Plus service for free and that "eventually" timeline asked is the same as its launch date. Read More...

Have More On How Horizon Zero Dawn's World Was Built & Fleshed Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn Another developer breakdown for Horizon Zero Dawn is here and shows off more on how Horizon Zero Dawn's world was built and how the facial animations were captured Hopefully you are not getting tired of hearing about Horizon Zero Dawn as not only do we have more to look at for it, but it launches in only a few days on February 28th. I know I feel like we've had so much on the game shown off so far from Guerrilla Games but as it sounds, we have only been shown very little to date. That is great for those who want to stay as spoiler free as possible. Read More...

It Is Time To Go Behind The Notebook With Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death A new video for Drawn To Death is out and this one gives us a look at how and why some of the Drawn To Death artists crafted the world the way they did Unless you are blind and living under a rock, you should know that Drawn To Death has a very unique style in terms of the art direction. It's not the first of its kind but it definitely shows off the direction that Bartlet Jones wanted to go with in the game and it has captured the eyes of many and the disdain of others. Drawn To Death is definitely not going to be for everyone but at least it is something new and with some solid gameplay to back it all up and I look forward to April 4th when it finally is released in its final form on the PS4. The Earth Really Is Not Ours Anymore In Horizon Zero Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn A new trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn has been released showing off just how the world became the place it is in Horizon Zero Dawn's main story Another week and another huge batch of Horizon Zero Dawn trailers to look at dissect as we wait for February 28th to finally get here and we can load up the game on our PS4. It seems like such a long wait still but as long as Guerrilla Games keeps bringing out these new trailers for us I think we will be able to manage. At least as long as we can keep to being as spoiler free as we've been able to so far for Horizon Zero Dawn. Read More...

Even More Horizon Zero Dawn Machine Are Flying Into The Mix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn Two more machines from Horizon Zero Dawn have been given a breakdown video and these look to be some of the fiercest Horizon Zero Dawn has to offer yet Just as I thought yesterday when we had two new videos for Horizon Zero Dawn's machines, now we have another two to devour in such a short time. It does look like we are going to have a look at all of those dangerous machines in the game as Guerrilla Games has two more to show off here and I am fairly sure that they have yet to be seen in the general wild yet so it is time to get even more excited for the game here. Or frightened as it looks like we have one that looks like it could be fairly manageable and another flying one that looks to make Horizon Zero Dawn be a bit more on the difficult side of things. Meet Two Of The Machines Out To End Us In Horizon Zero Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn Two new video clips for Horizon Zero Dawn have been released and they show off two of Horizon Zero Dawn's machines that will be snapping and killing us We've seen a few of the machines in the past for Horizon Zero Dawn and some of them look like they are going to be a nightmare to fight and others look to be a nice easy ride. Of course looks can be deceiving and there are also a lot of other machines out there in the game's world that could also make things look that way or the other. To help with all of that though, it looks like Guerrilla Games has started a new video series for Horizon Zero Dawn to help show off more of the machines that now own the world as well as how Aloy can bring them down or turn the tides of the battle with them.
