by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of March 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Fabled Woods Have a look at The Fabled Woods as we get to see how using the NVIDIA enhancements to make The Fabled Woods shine just a bit more This week we get to see The Fabled Woods finally hint our PCs out there and then we can dive deeper into all it has to offer. For those out there that seem to have a bit more power on their side when it comes to their machines, it does look like CyberPunch and Headup are ready to deliver on all of that with a few cool looking features we can activate. More than just the basics of ray-tracing and lighting, but it does look as if The Fabled Woods will be among the first titles out there to utilize some of these new capabilities to enhance how our video games will look and interact in the space. As long as you are still able to get the hardware that is required for all of this. Read More...

by Corey Dockendorf [ Wednesday, 29th of September 2010 - 08:33 PM ]
Fable III is drawing near, and recently we got a video diary which highlighted one of the most important pieces of the game, the cast. With a little bit of background from the characters as told by their voice over counterparts, this video gives us more of a deeper view into the world of Albion. Check out the video after the jump. With such amazing talent like Michael Fassbender, Stephen Fry, Simon Pegg, Sir Ben Kingsley, John Cleese, Zoë Wanamaker, Bernard Hill and Nicholas Hoult, players can expect hilarity and some fantastic voice over work. You can tell a lot about a video game, especially by its cast. Read More...

Fable 3 Is Finger-Licking Good
by Corey Dockendorf [ Monday, 9th of August 2010 - 01:05 PM ]
Peter Molyneux's popular title Fable 3 is being released in October. This week we got a full opening cinematic that would make Colonel Sanders giddy with excitement. Although the main character is created by the player, this cinematic follows the adventures of everyone's favorite feathered football, the chicken. Fable 3 takes place during an age of industry and we see a lot of that highlighted in this trailer. The entire video is obviously a metaphor for our hero; you are the same as this 'brave chicken' - challenging Albion and its dangers. Read More...

[XBox 360 Review] Fable II
by Michael Camacho [ Tuesday, 28th of October 2008 - 06:13 PM ]
Choices we make in life effect our future and the outcomes of various events in life, and we deal with the rewards and consequences of those actions. And this is no different when you enter the world of Fable II, as every decision you make will shape how you are looked at and perceived, and even how the world shifts and shapes itself according to your decisions. Fable II begins with you living in the slums of Bowerstone with your sister Rose, homeless and hungry.  To feed yourself, you and your sister head towards the Town Market, and there is where Rose takes notice of a peddler selling ancient wares and decides she wants to buy the magic box for sale. Fable II Site Launches When the first game launched, they did something much the same, as is the case with any new game that launches. You want to get out the info as soon and as quick as possible. Makes sense. But this time around Lionshead and Microsoft have decided to make it even more worthwhile to go to the game's site. This time around when going through the story and cutouts, the choices you make can actually gain you in-game items. Pretty much however you decide to go through can get you different items for play within the game. Read More...

Fable 2 Collector's Edition Stripped Near Bare
by Michael Camacho [ Wednesday, 1st of October 2008 - 09:24 PM ]
Looks like Lionhead Studios have dropped the ball once again.  As if possibly not having online co-op at release wasn't bad enough for those gamers waiting for Fable 2, those who preordered the Collector's Edition will be sorely disappointed in finding that it has been stripped nearly bare.  Gone are the Collector's Case, the Fate Cards, and no Hobble Figure.  Lionhead blames supply chain issues on this problem, and with only weeks left before the release, it causes on to wonder how this could have happened.  They have decided to drop the price to $69.
