Time To Spoil The First 26 Minutes Of Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of March 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
The first 26 minutes or so of Mortal Kombat X's story mode has been released online for all of us to spoil the game with It looks like the internet couldn't wait another two weeks for Mortal Kombat X to land as we now have what looks like the GDC demo that was shown to select press during the event. I am talking the whole 26 minute long section of the story that NetherRealm has shown a small section for already but in this case we have a whole lot more. Pretty much it looks like the entire first chapter of Mortal Kombat X and the entire outlying story that goes along with it. Read More...

Here's our review on how they've done so far Fresh off the last episode of Telltale's Game Of Thrones we have the third episode The Sword In The Darkness. There was a rather quick turnaround on this episode which is good but did the episode suffer at all from the speed or does it help keep us all engaged as the TV version of the franchise is coming back soon? Well we sat down and played through the latest episode of Game Of Thrones so you can gauge if this needs to bump to the top of the play list or you can leave it be for a little longer. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
More characters have been shown off for Mortal Kombat X via there most recent Kombat Kast and now we finally have Erron Black of the comic book fame Yet another character that was speculated and had small glimpses of before in Mortal Kombat X proper and now we have a full view of Erron Black from the comic book for the game. He feels like one of the worst kept secrets for the game from NetherRealm Studios but he still looks amazing and like a fun addition to franchise. Now we are at a high level of characters for Mortal Kombat X and I have a feeling that we still have quite a few more in the mix to come. Read More...

Review â Slender: The Arrival (PS4)

We Sit Down And Review Slender: The Arrival. The cult classic has made its way to the PS4 and Xbox One so lets see how it translated. Here's our review on how they've done so far The insanity of Slender: The Arrival has finally hit the next gen systems to overtake and put the fear into a whole new group of gamers on the PS4 and Xbox One. It's been two years since PC gamers had the fright put on them and just under a year since PS3 and Xbox 360 players have experienced Slender: The Arrival. There have been new story elements added into the game for the next generation but is that what was needed to sell the game to a new audience? Read More...

We Have More Pretty Faces To Grace Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
New characters and descriptions have popped up for Mad Max during Game Informer's huge coverage of the game Just in case you've been missing out, it is Mad Max month over at Game Informer so they can try and capitalize off the hype for the new film that is coming out in a little over a month. None of the information there is for the film but for the new game coming from Avalanche Studios. At least it would feel like it was new information if it was anything that the developer hasn't already told us or shown the world before. Outside of the announcement that Mad Max is only coming to the next gen platforms there hasn't been all too much for anyone that has been keeping a close eye on the game and its development. Review â Tales From The Borderlands: Atlas Mugged
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Atlas Mugged. This is the second episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since we had the first episode for Tales From The Borderlands. In fact we had four holidays and a whole lot of snow in between the first episode and the second one. This scared me somewhat as the first episode was so well done that I thought all future episodes for Tales From The Borderlands were going to take this long to perfect. I truly hope they don't. Review â Shiftlings
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Shiftlings. Is it worth your time? Do the quirky puzzles work out? Here's Our Video Review On the outside Shiftlings doesn't look like it does much to the puzzle and platforming genre for video games. Looks can and are deceiving all the time though and Rock Pocket Games is setting out to give us something we haven't experienced in a while for those two genres. Do they succeed? Do they fail? One More Character Was Hidden In Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 03:01 PM ]
It looks like one more character has been leaked in the whole Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack debacle on the Xbox Marketplace At the end of last week we had a whole bunch of characters listed out for Mortal Kombat X via the Kombat Pack. This was considered a "leak" when someone found the description of the pack up on the Xbox Marketplace. The big name listed here was Predator and then of course a video from NetherRealm came out showing off all of the characters coming to Mortal Kombat X via the DLC pack. That of course being Predator, Jason, Tremor, and Tanya. Read More...

Review â White Night
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 01:01 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review White Night. Is it the next best thing in horror? Does it use the black and white aesthetic correctly? Here's Our Video Review The release of White Night has come and passed and it felt like OSome Studios' title kind of flew under the radar for most. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse and in turn a full look at the game on the PS4 so we could put it through its paces. The original concept and videos show painted White Night in a very specific picture to me but did it fully hold up to what I expected? Well that is what the following video review is for. Review â Hand Of Fate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Hand Of Fate. Is this a sleeper hit that you need to try or just another game to throw aside? Here's Our Video Review Have you heard of Hand Of Fate from Defiant Development? Maybe you have and maybe you haven't but it is an interesting take on quite a few different video game genres and physical card games and RPGs. Think something along the lines of Magic: The Gathering meets a Tarot deck with a bit of a Dungeons & Dragons flare mixed in. It sounds a bit odd from that description; it did to me too, but is it worth your time and attention? Read More...

Call Of Duty: World At War 2 May Have Accidentally Announced Early
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of March 2015 - 03:01 PM ]
A new image has popped up online that shows that the next Call Of Duty title may be Call Of Duty: World At War 2 Before you get all antsy in the pansty here this is a rumor about Call Of Duty: World At War 2 being the next addition to the franchise from Treyarch. This rumor of course started from a "leaked" image hitting the internet that shows that Activision may be announcing the game on May 4th this year. That would be a Monday about a month before E3 so it does seem a bit logical for the reveal to happen. Not to mention that Activision does tend to use the Xbox platform to show things off for their next annual release to the Call Of Duty franchise. Read More...
