Easy Fatalities & DLC Character Trials Coming To Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of March 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
Mortal Kombat X will feature what is called "Easy Fatalities" as well as let you try the DLC characters in Towers Mode It looks like Mortal Kombat X is getting two more features just for this version of the franchise that we have yet to see before. If you are an avid watcher of the Kombat Kast that NetherRealm has been doing almost every Friday up until now then you may have heard about Easy Fatalities. That's one new feature coming just for Mortal Kombat X. The other is that there will be challenge towers that feature DLC characters that you can play through even if you don't own the character outside of the tower. Read More...

Looks Like There Are Bad Batches Of Antizin In Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Techland does April Fool's right with a nice little joke added in for Dying Light for the one day only Tomorrow is a date that I usually loath but it looks like Dying Light is going to be giving us all something to enjoy instead of the normal BS of April Fool's day. It looks like the next patch, which will be free to all for one day only, will completely alter some of the stats of your character in the game. It looks like instead of making some elaborate hoax, Techland is taking the joke and giving it to us in the way of crazy super-strength in Dying Light. Technically all of us can be superheroes in the game and not just bad-ass parkour runners. Read More...

Time To Spoil The First 26 Minutes Of Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The first 26 minutes or so of Mortal Kombat X's story mode has been released online for all of us to spoil the game with It looks like the internet couldn't wait another two weeks for Mortal Kombat X to land as we now have what looks like the GDC demo that was shown to select press during the event. I am talking the whole 26 minute long section of the story that NetherRealm has shown a small section for already but in this case we have a whole lot more. Pretty much it looks like the entire first chapter of Mortal Kombat X and the entire outlying story that goes along with it. Read More...

Erron Black Is Now Kompletely Konfirmed For Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
More characters have been shown off for Mortal Kombat X via there most recent Kombat Kast and now we finally have Erron Black of the comic book fame Yet another character that was speculated and had small glimpses of before in Mortal Kombat X proper and now we have a full view of Erron Black from the comic book for the game. He feels like one of the worst kept secrets for the game from NetherRealm Studios but he still looks amazing and like a fun addition to franchise. Now we are at a high level of characters for Mortal Kombat X and I have a feeling that we still have quite a few more in the mix to come. Read More...

We Have More Pretty Faces To Grace Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New characters and descriptions have popped up for Mad Max during Game Informer's huge coverage of the game Just in case you've been missing out, it is Mad Max month over at Game Informer so they can try and capitalize off the hype for the new film that is coming out in a little over a month. None of the information there is for the film but for the new game coming from Avalanche Studios. At least it would feel like it was new information if it was anything that the developer hasn't already told us or shown the world before. Outside of the announcement that Mad Max is only coming to the next gen platforms there hasn't been all too much for anyone that has been keeping a close eye on the game and its development. Yet Another Character Reveal/Leak For Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Straight out of Russia with love we have another Mortal Kombat X character confirmed and another being teased What was speculation yesterday for Mortal Kombat X is now confirmed. We have our first look at Lui Kang in action with the latest international trailer titled The Shaolin Trailer. This comes from Maxim Russian, with love, and shows not only Lui Kang in action but how he will possibly be fitting into the overall story along with Kung Lao and the possibility of yet another character gracing the game. If you are eagle eyed enough you may also see Bo' Rai Cho in the following Mortal Kombat X trailer. This would bring the character count for Mortal Kombat X to a not so round 29 with extra rumor and speculation bringing that up to 39 with what has been gleamed so far. Read More...

One More Character Was Hidden In Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
It looks like one more character has been leaked in the whole Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack debacle on the Xbox Marketplace At the end of last week we had a whole bunch of characters listed out for Mortal Kombat X via the Kombat Pack. This was considered a "leak" when someone found the description of the pack up on the Xbox Marketplace. The big name listed here was Predator and then of course a video from NetherRealm came out showing off all of the characters coming to Mortal Kombat X via the DLC pack. That of course being Predator, Jason, Tremor, and Tanya. Read More...

Press L1 To Even The Odds As Batman: Arkham Knight Has Been Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed by a few weeks now but we have new footage and news to soften the blow So the bad news we have here is that it looks like Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be delayed for about three more weeks. This now pushes the official launch of the game to June 23rd from June 2nd. This news comes straight from the mouths of whoever is handling Rocksteady's PR via the game's Twitter account. I find it a bit odd that they used the word "pleased" when telling everyone out there that one of the most anticipated titles is going to have to wait another three weeks to be played but that is just me. Predator Has Decloaked As Mortal Kombat X's Other Guest DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The description for Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack on the Xbox Live Marketplace has revealed that Predator is the other Mortal Kombat X Guest DLC Hot off the presses of the last Mortal Kombat X news from yesterday we have yet another character announcement of sorts. This one comes from the description of the Kombat Pack DLC for the game when it launches on April 14th. This would be one of the other guest stars for the game and not another core one. Sadly it is not Spawn but it looks like we have Predator on his way to Mortal Kombat X alongside Jason Voorhees. Read More...

A Better Look At Mortal Kombat X's Mileena, Takeda, & Kung Jin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
During the latest Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat X the variations for Mileena & Takeda were shown off as well as how the Kombat Kollective added to the game We may have seen and heard of a lot of characters over the last few weeks for Mortal Kombat X but most have not had all of their variations. Luckily that is what the Kombat Kast is for before we get to the full release on April 14th. In this most recent one we had a nice long look at Mileena, Takeda, and Kung Jin in Mortal Kombat X. One is an alum and the others are new for the game. Read More...

More Leaks For Mortal Kombat X…More Rumored Characters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The achievement list for Mortal Kombat X was 'leaked' and with it some images that show more possible playable characters for the game We're under a month out from Mortal Kombat X's release date and it seems like we can't stop with more character reveals or character rumors. Now it would seem that the achievement/trophy list for the game has been "leaked" out and with it some new images. Some of those images of course show off some new characters in action even though they have yet to be announced or revealed. Although a few have been in the rumored section for Mortal Kombat X for a while now. Read More...

LEGO Jurassic World has received its first official trailer with a bit of gameplay and worlds in the game It's time to enter the wonders of LEGO Jurassic World. Yes, we are getting another film based LEGO game and it will be just in time to capture all of the wonder of the new film. This we all knew; or at least all hopefully knew before clicking in to read. Mortal Kombat X's Story Will Play A Bit Different
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
During the latest Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat X it was shown how the game's story will play as well as Johnny Cage's moves As if we didn't have enough Mortal Kombat X news and updates last week, it looks like this week is starting off with a bang. Well technically as some of the story mode and Johnny Cage's moves were shown during the Kombat Kast last Friday but we were only able now to get the clips that most may be interested in from the hour long show. I'm not stating that the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Kast isn't worth the watch in general, the NetherRealm guys are great with it, but when it comes to the gameplay of Mortal Kombat X here is what we have to offer. First it looks like the story mode for Mortal Kombat X is using a lot of the same structure that started in MK9 and carried over to Injustice. Read More...

New Details On The Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack & Guest Character
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Warner Bros. and NetherRealm have released some new info on the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack & the first guest character fitting for Friday The 13th So here we go with even more Mortal Kombat X character reveals, updates, and information. I love that NetherRealm is giving us a flood of new stuff but I wish that it was all at one time. This one though makes sense given the Friday The 13th date and the announcement. If you couldn't tell by now we are getting Jason Voorhees, of Friday The 13th fame, as our first guest character and he will be included along with three other characters in the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack. See How Mortal Kombat X's Mobile Game Is Going To Handle
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
New footage for the Mortal Kombat X mobile app has been released and shows off how the game will be played It seems to be Mortal Kombat X week over here as we had the character announcements earlier and now we have a nice taste of the mobile game's gameplay. Just below you can see how Mortal Kombat X is going to handle on the Android version of the app but it should be safe to assume that it will run about the same on the iOS version as there doesn't look to be anything platform specific here at all. I'm not an iOS guy so correct me if I am wrong in that statement but if there isn't tapping and swiping allowed there then I am glad to keep with my Android products; with more Mortal Kombat X now. Here is what we can see for Mortal Kombat X running on an Android. Read More...
