Concept Art For Visceral's Star Wars Have Come Out As Well As An Update
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Wars During London's Star Wars celebration event we received a few new bits of concept are for the Star Wars Visceral is working for us We all know that EA is holding onto that Star Wars IP with an iron grip and forcing pretty much all of their development studios to work on the IP in some way or another. One of which would be Visceral Games that we all know for the Dead Space titles and the most recent Battlefield Hardline title; also they are the studio who picked up Amy Hennig of Uncharted fame. Of course it makes sense that they would have them working on another Star Wars addition into the video game world and it looks like we have a bit of an update and some pieces of concept art to work with as we wait and see. It's Time To Launch Into The New Battlefield Hardline Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 05:02 PM ]
Battlefield Hardline's release is upon us and Visceral Games with EA have released the launch trailer to tantalize us all more Battlefield Hardline is out in just over a week so you know what time it is? LAUNCH TRAILER TIME! Now queue the wacky sounds and inappropriate screams as we move on to watch what Visceral Games and EA have to show us to try and lure in those who are still holding out on Battlefield Hardline. This goes double for all of you out there who are bitching that it will only come with the resolution of 900p on the PS4 and 720p to the Xbox One. Most of you won't even see the difference but those in the know throw around the numbers and you latch on as you know the difference. Read More...

Visceral Games Had A Lot To Take On For Battlefield Hardline
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of January 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
The first developer diary for Battlefield Hardline has been released at it shows all of the care that Visceral Games took to make it the best yet I have been impressed with what I have seen for Battlefield Hardline up until now. It really looks like a next gen title as well as a welcomed, at least by me, deviation from the standard warfare title that Battlefield has almost always been. Of course we have Visceral Games to thank for that as they are the ones finally helming a full version of a Battlefield title with Battlefield Hardline and not some DLC add-on. The better question though is what have they done to get the game to where it is right now. Read More...

There Is A Battlefield Hardline Open Beta Coming Our Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of January 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Steve Papoutsis has today released a blog post containing initial information about the upcoming Battlefield Hardline beta for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS3 If you missed the first Battlefield Hardline beta then fret not as we are getting another one sometime between now and March 17th. That is kind of all we know about this latest beta announcement as the blog posting and press release talking about it don't detail much more. Well outside of it being open for all to give a whirl on any platform that Battlefield Hardline is going to be coming to. Also that that there will be no crazy requirements to sign up or special codes. Read More...

Karma Is A Bitch In The Latest Battlefield Hardline Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of December 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield Hardline has a new trailer and with that a whole slew of new gameplay to try and spin the game's core narrative into a positive light Looks like we have a new trailer for Battlefield Hardline from EA and Visceral Games to look at over the holiday week. Just like the story trailer we had earlier in the month it looks like this one also follows more of the narrative and to the un-savvy viewer it looks like it is trying to push more of the positive spin that the police force needs in these current times. Maybe it is just me but the words non-lethal and rescues seem to get placed more prominent than all of the violence that will be taking place in Battlefield Hardline when we get it. It's a good move in my opinion and I hope it does the job to distance the game from the real world events people are connecting them all to. Read More...

Story Time: Battlefield Hardline
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of December 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The official story trailer for Battlefield Hardline's single player mode has been released and it is pretty much Cops without editing If there has been one game that has had a rough go with its marketing as of late it is Battlefield Hardline. Not that the PR teams over at EA and Visceral Games are not doing a good jobs. All of the real world events that are going on well after Battlefield Hardline was designed and even into a beta experience are making it harder and harder to be "sensitive" to everything and everyone. I applaud the whole team for rolling with the punches as well as they can in a world where virtual cops and robbers is no longer a P. Read More...

These Cops In Battlefield Hardline Are Ruthless Yet Awesome
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of November 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Some new Battlefield Hardline footage has been smuggled onto the web and it shows off quite a bit of the single player gameplay as well as the tone of the game We've seen a bit of the single player for Battlefield Hardline and played the multiplayer beta for the game already. Until now I don't think I've seen how rough Visceral Games and EA are going to have their cops and DEA member look in Battlefield Hardline. This is not a bad thing in my opinion we just haven't seen anything like this until this recent b-roll footage (see below) surfaced up. Maybe you have but to date I have not seen how rough and amazing this is going to be when we finally get Battlefield Hardline on our PS3s, PS4s, Xbox Ones, Xbox 360s, or PCs. Read More...

The New Hotwire Multiplayer For Battlefield Hardline Looks Intense
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of September 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
A new multiplayer mode for Battlefield Hardline has been detailed and has a new trailer from EA and Visceral Games What would the cops and robbers style of Battlefield Hardline be without epic car chases through the city? It wouldn't be worth its weight in platinum multiplied by a hundred if it didn't have that kind of gameplay included somehow into the game. Good thing that EA and Visceral Games thought ahead for all of us and included just that in the Hotwire Multiplayer mode of the game. Yes, there will be some epic car chases coming to our PS4s, Xbox Ones, and PCs here in short time and I have a feeling that they are going to be some of the most intense matches to date. Read More...

See Some New Single Player Battlefield Hardline Footage Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of August 2014 - 05:01 PM ]
A 12 minute gameplay video for Battlefield Hardline has been released showing off the campaign mode and some new gadgets to use Up until now we have seen mainly the multiplayer aspect of Battlefield Hardline. We even had a nice long beta for the damned thing just after E3 this year. Well it would seem that EA and Visceral decided to show off the single player aspect of Battlefield Hardline at Gamescom this year. Of course this was all done via the PC version of the game so we can expect it to look amazing but any who played the beta know that it looks just about as nice on the consoles. But let's move on from that for now. Read More...

E3 2014 Hands On: Battlefield: Hardline
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of June 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Battlefield: Hardline In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was one game at E3 that made an impression before I even got to play it, it was Battlefield: Hardline. Unlike most games on the show floor where there is just a themed room/area for a game; there was a whole experience for Hardline at the EA booth. All who were playing had to be "processed" and moved along into a semi-interactive experience. In the end we went through a "jail break" of sorts and brought right into an epic game of cops and robbers. Read More...

Go Into The Urban Jungle With Battlefield: Hardline
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of June 2014 - 05:01 PM ]
EA and Visceral Games have made Battlefield: Hardline official and here is the trailer for the game to prove it I guess it only took a few 'leaks' of Battlefield: Hardline before EA and Visceral decided to let the secret out into the wild. It is sad that all of these other 'reputable' and 'deserving of early footage' outlets have decided to ruin the fun and excitement that I am sure EA was looking for at E3 but what is done is done. We can now be certain that Battlefield: Hardline is coming and that we will hopefully be getting a nice long look at it on the show floor and moving forward in the coming months leading up to the full launch of the game. October 21st for those who may be wondering and haven't just jumped down to the trailer already. Read More...

Review: Dead Space 3
by Irene Collazo [ Monday, 11th of February 2013 - 12:38 PM ]
Isaac Clarke is back for round three of limb dismembering, skull stomping, and vigorous shimmy shaking action against the Necromorphs we all love to hate. Oh, but he was dragged into it for the sake of mankind. Once again, Unitologists decide to cause an outbreak of Necromorphs because they’re simply crazy and suicidal. That’s just my opinion. Dead Space 3 is somewhat different from the first two games which threw me off for the first hour of game play. Read More...

E3 2012 Impressions: Dead Space 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of June 2012 - 07:28 PM ]
Talk about an awesome announcement at this year's E3, Dead Space 3! Yes I am one of those people out there who still love the franchise even though EA is milking it for everything. But Dead Space was one of the games in the recent years that revitalized the survival horror genre for me. Needless to say I did everything I could to fit in a viewing of the game. While originally this was shown behind closed doors at the show, recently the game's Executive Producer (Steve Papoutsis) posted a video showcasing exactly everything we all got to see on the show floor. I was nice enough to include the 20 minute game play footage show casing the single player and co-op for you below. Read More...
