Resident Evil 7 Is Bringing Back The Same Old Way To Heal Yourself
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 It looks like Resident Evil 7 isn't going to break the mold with healing items as Resident Evil 7 is getting the same old stuff we've had for decades Time to mark our first bit of un-shocking news down for Resident Evil 7 as we have a look at the way we will heal ourselves in the game. Seeing as Capcom doesn't usually look to break things that already work, it looks like Green Herbs and sprays are coming back to the franchise yet again. Well less of a spray but a drinkable looking bottle but I have a feeling they will all work the same when all is said and done. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Isn't A Ghost Story & Will Continue The Franchise
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 After the Resident Evil 7 demo was shown and made available worries that Resident Evil 7 was becoming a ghost story popped up but now they are crushed A lot of buzz has been circulating for Resident Evil 7 since it was first shown to have been the VR demo a lot of us were horrified of playing a while back. More so since Capcom saw it fit to release the same demo that was on the show floor out there for every PS4 owner who happened to also be a PS+ subscriber. I've played through the Resident Evil 7 teaser a few times already myself like many others. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Was In Front Of Us This Whole Time In VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Looks like Resident Evil 7 had been shown off to us all a while ago but now Resident Evil 7 is officially launched and coming. If we put on our “way back” hats to a time where we heard about a demo called Kitchen we will now be able to recognize it as Resident Evil 7 and that the true horror had been shown to us quite a while ago now. During last night’s round of press events we all were able to witness a new VR experience from Capcom that many in the crowd were already murmuring Kitchen. As the demo carried on it played out just as before only a bit longer only to finally reveal that it was indeed Resident Evil 7 and that it has been in the making for a lot longer than we knew. Ghost Theory Aims To Let You Be A Paranormal Researcher⦠If Funded
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of April 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Ghost Theory A new title, Ghost Theory, has popped up on Kickstarter and it looks like Ghost Theory will let you perform some paranormal research on real world locations If you've ever had hopes of becoming a paranormal researcher but the dreams have fallen flat then let's get them re-kindled again with Ghost Theory. This would be a new title in the works from Dreadlocks and is currently looking for funding over on Kickstarter. The thing that is so special about Ghost Theory here though is that it is aiming to bring us just what I spoke about in a video game form but also in a VR form…and will give us access to go to and "research" real world haunted locations that you have also wished to visit already. This Week In Video Games 3/14/16 â 3/18/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This has been one crazy week for video games hasn't it? We had a whole load of new rumors fly out there and some huge announcements. Could we be getting Red Dead Redemption 2 and a BioShock Collection or is that just wishful thinking? How about the price announcement for the PlayStation VR that came out and then was followed up by a bundle that still greatly undercuts the competition in terms of price. Hells, we also had a nice review for the first episode of Hitman land out there for you. Read More...

The Climb Takes Us To New Heights & Dark Locations
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of March 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
The Climb A new trailer for The Climb has been released and it shows off some new caves and an alpine locale crafted just for The Climb With all the VR news out there due to GDC it looks like we get to add yet another bit in there in terms of The Climb. At least this time it is for some software that Crytek is working on and not some new hardware and pricing that will be debated for hours on end. What good is the hardware without titles like The Climb to help show things off and get players actually trying out things they may be a bit too timid to try in the first place? The Oculus hardware needs to be more than just experiences or it will fall flat after all. Read More...

PlayStation VR Gets Priced & Has A Release Window
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of March 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
PlayStation VR During a press event at GDC PlayStation VR was priced out and also now we have a release window for when PlayStation VR will be hitting our homes Update 2 Deatail on the PlayStation VR bundle confirmed Sony isn't kidding around here for the PlayStation VR as they confirmed that the bundle will be $499 USD and up for pre-order on March 22nd. It will include: PS VR headset PS VR cables Stereo Headphones PlayStation VR Demo Disc PlayStation Camera 2 PlayStation Move motion controllers PlayStation VR Worlds (disc) Update Sony Confirms Bundle For North America Looks like there was a lot of outcry about the PlayStation VR set not coming with a camera or Move controllers. While the camera is required to use the system the controllers are not but many developers are building titles with the idea that consumers will have them. Read More...

New Multiplayer VR Game Werewolves Within Has Been Outed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Werewolves Within A new VR game, Werewolves Within, has been announced and pits players against each other to see who truly has a Werewolves Within… The mainstream VR hardware is still a bit off from release and it looks like we have yet another odd game to add to the list as Werewolves Within has just been announced. While the title does sound a bit goofy it does look like Red Storm is trying to make something truly unique out of the gate for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR. Werewolves Within wouldn't be a true Ubisoft game if it wasn't trying to capitalize on every available platform that it can right out the gate after all. Read More...

Another ADR1FT Gameplay Video Shows Off How Serene Space Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of February 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
ADR1FT A new ADR1FT video has been released just after the release day announcement and it is more accolades for ADR1FT than any true showing Earlier in the month it was confirmed that ADR1FT would be getting its PC release on March 28th and the console version would be soon after. Three One Zero has been working hard on making the game the best VR experience to have and it has impressed quite a bit. That's why I find it odd that it took so long after the initial announcement for 505 Games to give us the trailer talking about said praise for ADR1FT as well as extra the release date. I guess again, beggars can't be choosers here and we should just be thankful. Read More...

See How The Climb Is Aimed To Be More Realistic Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of February 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
The Climb A new developer diary for The Climb has been released and it shows off some of the ways that the developer is trying to make The Climb the most realistic climbing sim to date A few months back we first caught wind of The Climb as it began its development cycle. This would be the new rock climbing simulator that Crytek is working on to give us all a nice new experience to have with the Oculus Rift. For the most part The Climb sounds just like the title makes the game sound. You are setting out on various "climbs" in the VR setting using your own abilities to spot handholds and click buttons to grab onto ledges. Read More...

CES 2016 Hands On â Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Oculus While at CES 2016 I was able to play with the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch in a more intimate setting than just a video. Here's my take on the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch Obviously one of the big items around CES 2016 was the Oculus Rift; especially since it went up for pre-order and all of the new details cropped up just at the beginning of the show. That of course led to a whole lot of debate on if the Oculus Rift was going to be worth the $600 price tag out the door or if it was going to be another overpriced gizmo with a lot of buyer's remorse. This led me to take over the job of checking out the hardware of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers to see if the price point made sense for where the system is now or if, like I said, it was something that could be left behind. CES 2016 Hands On â Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us.
