The Inpatient The Inpatient has been given a release date now and we can also see part of The Inpatient's story leading up to this intense VR psychological thriller title If you can think back to E3 and remember when The Inpatient was announced for the PS VR, you are already one-step ahead of everyone else here. For those who can't remember that, this would be the next title in the Until Dawn universe that Supermassive Games is bringing us and will place us further into the game than before. Are your memories jogged yet or do you need more for The Inpatient? Read More...

SDCC 2017 Experience â Blade Runner 2049
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Blade Runner While out at SDCC we had a chance to check out the Blade Runner 2049 off-site event. Here's what we experienced for Blade Runner 2049 at SDCC 2017 Given that Blade Runner 2049 will be hitting theaters soon, October 6th, it makes sense that there would be a big thing out at SDCC to show it all off and build even more hype for the film. A big thing it was too as one of the larger parking lots near the convention center was taken over by a massive tent that only displayed the film's name but held many fun things inside; that is if you were willing to wait in the extremely long lines to get in. Thankfully though, the Blade Runner 2049 experience out there was handled rather well and offered up two different experiences for fans to check out. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of July 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Theseus The VR experience Theseus now has a release date for the PS VR version and we will soon join Theseus on this new adventure I hope you are ready to get back into the Greek stories as Theseus now has a release date for the PS VR version of the game. Strangely enough it is for this platform and not the Oculus or Vive version, but I'll take it for now as Forge Reply looks to have a fun and terrifying experience coming to us. Hopefully you have your PS4 and PS VR ready as Theseus will be there on July 26th. That's a pretty short turn around since it was only announced to be coming to the platform about a month ago. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of July 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Lone Echo A new trailer for Lone Echo has dropped to get us all ready for the release of Lone Echo and its multiplayer side of Echo Arena Hopefully you've taken advantage of the many great deals going on for the Oculus Rift as it looks like we have another great tittle to add into the mix with Lone Echo getting its exclusive release on the system on July 20th. This would be the latest title from Ready At Dawn that will place us all in the virtual space of…well…space as we take on the role of an astronaut's companion after some mishap takes place. By companion I'm talking a robot with our intelligence who is able to handle all the harshness that Lone Echo has to offer in way of problem solving to keep our captain alive and us still functioning. E3 Hands On â The Inpatient
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
The Inpatient While at E3 I was able to see The Inpatient in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on The Inpatient. Here we go with another interesting title that was shown off during the big PlayStation media showcase and it is The Inpatient. Not much was known for this title before or even after the event outside of the trailer and that it is is another title coming from Supermassive Games for the PS VR set up. Also, as of this time it is only a PS VR title so keep that in mind as I break down my experience with The Inpatient in one of the hidden floors of the E3 show floor booths. Well, not so hidden but hard to get to as it was a rather long demo for the show here, but I am digressing from the actual hands on. Read More...

Theseus Is Fighting His Way First On To PS VR This Summer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Theseus Action-Adventure title Theseus is poised to bring the story of Theseus to PlayStation VR this Summer first with other platforms certainly to follow along Back in February we all, at least most of us, heard about a new VR title coming our way in terms of Theseus. As the title pretty much suggests, we will be taking on the role of the titular Greek Hero in the game and Forge Reply was going to take us through one of his great adventures in the game. In the terms of Theseus the game, we would be tackling the mythical Maze of the Minotaur and all of the harshness that should be coming along with that. All in a nice action-adventure setting but also set in a VR display. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Will Be No Hero This Spring But It's Okay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of April 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The announced free DLC for Resident Evil 7, Not A Hero, has been delayed but it looks like we will get more top-notch Resident Evil 7 gaming soon Like many other titles that promised something by Spring of 2017, it looks like Resident Evil 7 is going to be added to that list as it seems the Not A Hero DLC has been delayed. Not a huge deal given how well the game and current DLC are going, but none the less it looks like Capcom needs more time for this DLC and we are going to have to wait. How long? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of April 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The final video for Resident Evil 7 making of series has released and shows us just of Resident Evil 7's iconic house was crafted in many ways All good things come to an end and as it seems, the Resident Evil 7 making of videos are now wrapped up as the final one has just dropped. All of this was Capcom's way to show us how the game was made to scare us all a bit more but also to help bridge the gap as we wait for the next additions to the game to come. There is still another free story mission for Resident Evil 7 to come and the Season Pass content is only halfway done if my numbers are right. Read More...

If It Wasn't For Gamers Resident Evil 7 May Not Have Had VR Support
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The third video for Resident Evil 7's making of series has been released and we get to see just how Resident Evil 7 got the VR support it has It's not uncommon that the wants and needs of gamers help shape their games, but as it turns out for Resident Evil 7, it looks like we all were the basis for one specific feature to be added into the game. That feature being the VR support that came with the PS4 version of the game as it turns out that Capcom wasn't originally keen on having it in there. Understandably so as it is still a budding technology and they really needed Resident Evil 7 to be the game that brought the franchise back into the lime light. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Tested The Dev's Courage To Join The Family
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The second making of video for Resident Evil 7 is here and it delves into Resident Evil 7's horrific family and found footage mechanics Fresh off the heels of last week's look at how Resident Evil 7 was made, we have the latest video in the series that is being put out there. If you don't remember, last week we saw how the Bakers were originally supposed to have a pet dog in the mix and also that Capcom was working on a mechanic in-game that would have made you need to hold your breath. Of course, both of those were scrapped for the final version of Resident Evil 7 but it is interesting to see how the whole process goes over there. Not to mention to see what could have been in the game. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Almost Had A Family Dog & Other Aspects That Were Cut
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 A new video series for Resident Evil 7 has kicked off to show us all the fun things Resident Evil 7 almost had as well as how the game was designed from the start By now most of us have played, beaten, and moved onto the DLC for Resident Evil 7 as it has been a rather successful venture into bringing the series back to where it began. All of the other recent titles were a little shaky, to Capcom's dismay, but now it seems like they have figured out how to give the fans what they want. As with all games though, Resident Evil 7 wasn't just an idea and then a final product, but another title with a long development process filled with all kinds of choices and paths that led us to a rather well done title. Try To Stay Safe And Dry As Narcosis Set In Here Real Soon
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 20th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Narcosis A new trailer for Narcosis has released for all to look at as we wait for Narcosis to launch on its many platforms in a little over a week It's been one long trip but it looks like we are almost there as Narcosis finally launches on March 28th here. What once started as a student project has budded up into the debut of Honor Code's first title for the Xbox One, PC, and Oculus. Not too shabby at all and that is apparently not all of the platforms for Narcosis as it is still listed as coming to "other platforms" but by now a good portion of us all know how that can be. It can be rough to get things through verification for those who don't know. Read More...
