Two New VR Titles, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, Are Coming Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of April 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Feral Rites Insomniac is working on two more VR experiences, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, for the Oculus and both Feral Rites & The Unspoken looks to bring us something completely new Fresh off their most recent amazing release it looks like Insomniac Games has two more games/experiences for us later this year in terms of Feral Rites and The Unspoken. Both of which will be titles for the Oculus technologies and feature very different forms of gameplay and experiences. Of course that would be the case and if it wasn't for the fact that all of the news broke together we would have wasted your time talking about Feral Rites and then go into a whole other posting about The Unspoken. CES 2016 Hands On â Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Oculus While at CES 2016 I was able to play with the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch in a more intimate setting than just a video. Here's my take on the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch Obviously one of the big items around CES 2016 was the Oculus Rift; especially since it went up for pre-order and all of the new details cropped up just at the beginning of the show. That of course led to a whole lot of debate on if the Oculus Rift was going to be worth the $600 price tag out the door or if it was going to be another overpriced gizmo with a lot of buyer's remorse. This led me to take over the job of checking out the hardware of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers to see if the price point made sense for where the system is now or if, like I said, it was something that could be left behind. by Binh Nguyen [ Wednesday, 17th of February 2010 - 07:34 AM ]
Plants vs. Zombies was one of the 2009 most played games for the PC, especially for those at Aggrogamer.com. PopCap Games has announced today that they will be releasing the game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Plants vs. Zombies will be available now at the Apple’s App Store for $2.99. Andrew Stein, Director of Mobile platforms from PopCap Games made the following comment, “Plants vs. Zombies for iPhone and iPod Touch marks the first adaptation of our wildly popular ‘flower defense’ game to a new platform, and we’re excited at how well it has translated to the iPhone and iPod touch. Chuck Brings the Pain to Your Mobile Device: Review
by Kevin [ Thursday, 10th of December 2009 - 12:07 AM ]
One of the few game developers that has never ceased to amaze me is Gameloft. I don't know what their development philosophy is, but it has consistently led to some great gaming experiences on mobile devices. To be perfectly honest, Chuck Norris: Bring On The Pain continues in that trend, turning the worn jokes concerning our favorite Texas Ranger into a pretty entertaining game.Over at the official site, Gameloft gives some insight as to what you are in for: "Step into the boots of America’s toughest man in the first Chuck Norris game available for your iPhone and iPod touch. A brilliantly outlandish scenario sets you, Chuck Norris, in the Cambodian jungle to release prisoners of war held hostage by a rogue army of Communist soldiers. Read More...

Earthworm Jim Whips It Good!
by Corey Dockendorf [ Monday, 19th of October 2009 - 07:02 PM ]
I remember Jim. The funny earthworm with bionic suit that made so many tounge-in-cheek jokes I could hardly stand it. I had the action figure, I watched the cartoon. I played it on every console that it was available for. Now Jim is returning, guns and blazin', to consoles and handhelds all over the world. Cow launching, check. Laser guns, Check. Read More...

Sweet Sweet Touchdown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of October 2008 - 11:17 AM ]
No More Heroes 2 - Desperate Struggle Yes, if you read the line above this, you know what is coming. Yes, there is going to be a sequel to the first game. If you have yet to play it, DEFINITELY give it a go. I didn't hop on at first. In fact it took a sweet little innocent ex-roommate of mine to inform me of how cool the game was. Had my reservations at first, but then I felt like kicking myself afterward. Now if only there was more than just this teaser out for it. Read More...
