New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Footage Gets Kill Happy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of September 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Rise Of The Tomb Raider New gameplay footage for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been placed online and it shows the deadlier side of Tomb Raider that we may be getting Until today I was thinking that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was being wishy washy on the gameplay mechanics that we will be playing with when it finally launches. In some videos it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider is a stealth game. In other is looks like Crystal Dynamics has made only a "kill everything and that will keep you stealthy" kind of game. Time To Descend With Legends In Rise Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of September 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Rise Of The Tomb Raider A new trailer for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been released and it looks like we are getting even more callbacks to Tomb Raider in this game Just in case you spaced on the fact that Rise Of The Tomb Raider is still coming to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 here on November 10th we have yet another trailer to look at as a reminder. Sadly it is also a reminder that it is going to be limited for about another year as we wait for Crystal Dynamics to be able to spread the Tomb Raider love when they can bring Rise Of The Tomb Raider to all other gamers out there. That and that since we most likely know everything that there is to about the game in terms of gameplay we will be inundated with these hodgepodged together videos for Rise Of The Tomb Raider until launch. Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Collector's Edition Has Been Detailed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The collector's edition for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been revealed and it is pretty standard in the ways of collector’s editions goes Surprise, surprise. It looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider is getting a Collector's Edition version of the game. Okay. Not really that big of a surprise here but up until now there has been no word from Square Enix on if there was going to be one or not. Hells, Crystal Dynamics has been pretty quiet on the whole thing but I am sure that is due to them trying to make Rise Of The Tomb Raider the game we want and need and not just a bland addition to the franchise. That is at least what I would like to think as it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to think that as I'll most likely have another year to sit and wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to move from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One over to the PC and PS4. The Rise Of The Tomb Raider Demo That Should Have Been At Gamescom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A stealthier version of the Rise Of The Tomb Raider demo that was shown off at Gamescom has been released to show combat doesn't have to be used in Rise Of The Tomb Raider If you were like me then you were most likely let down with the first showcase of Rise Of The Tomb Raider during Gamescom. It was claimed to be a stealth gameplay demo just for the show but there was a lot more combat mixed in and a lot less stealth than we should expect in Rise Of The Tomb Raider. It looks like Crystal Dynamics heard or read the outcry there as they have just released a new version of that "stealth" Rise Of The Tomb Raider gameplay footage only this time they really do mean stealth as Lara makes her way through the same area without trying to kill or injure a single person in Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Usually I am all about the killing to get rid of those pesky guards in games like Rise Of The Tomb Raider but that just has never been Lara's style before and more along the lines of Agent 47. New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Demo Shows Some Tomb Raiding
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The actual demo for Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the Gamescom show floor has been released at it feels much more Tomb Raider-like than ever I am pretty sure now that Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been announced to not only be hitting the Xbox 360 and Xbox One but also the PC and PS4 that Microsoft is not going to do any justice on showing off what we can all look forward to for the game. During Gamescom they showed the world on their huge stage what Rise Of The Tomb Raider would look like on their system only to make Crystal Dynamics' work look like a Thief/Uncharted rip-off. That's how I saw it at least even though I know way better. Read More...

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Looks More Like A Stealth Game Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
New gameplay footage for Rise Of The Tomb Raider was shown at Gamescom and it looks like there will be a whole lot more stealth action than remembered in any Tomb Raider title before Another non-shocking title to be shown off today for Microsoft's press event at Gamescom was Rise Of The Tomb Raider. They are so proud to be getting Crystal Dynamics' title to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One first that of course they want to show off all the cool things those gamers will get before the PS4 and PC crowds. Can't fault them for that. Read More...

Rumors Were True As Rise Of The Tomb Raider Hits PS4 In 2016
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The rumors have been confirmed as it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider will have a PC and a PS4 release date in 2016 It looks like all those prayers worked everyone as Rise Of The Tomb Raider is now officially heading to the PS4 and PC. That's great news for everyone except the PS3 owners. The bad news in this is that it will be another year before Crystal Dynamics will be able to get Rise Of The Tomb Raider off the Xbox 360 and Xbox One as both versions are slated for a 2016 release window. The PC version getting an "Early 2016" and the PS4 version getting a "Holiday 2016" timeline. None the less Rise Of The Tomb Raider's state of being only on Xbox will only be for November 10th and moving into next year until the other platforms get their go at the game. Read More...

Rumor Mill: A Rise Of The Tomb Raider PS4 Release Window Announced?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new rumor has been cropped up around Rise Of The Tomb Raider from the guys over at The Know placing Rise Of The Tomb Raider's PS4 launch in late 2016 Nothing gets the morning juices flowing like a good old fashioned rumor and this one here is for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. This time it is all over the release date for the game. No, not the already announced release date of November 10th that Crystal Dynamics is aiming to hit for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the game but about when we might be seeing Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4. I'm also guessing that this would also cover the PS3 version of the game as I am sure that Square Enix wouldn't want to miss out on the funds and whole other platform to market too. Read More...

Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Square Enix Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below One down for today and now we are on to the second press event for E3 day one with Square Enix and what they have to show. I'm kind of at a loss given the world premiere videos that were shown already from the Square Enix catalog. Maybe they will dig more into the Final Fantasy VII Remake video and information but doubtful. Maybe we will see a surprise for Kingdom Hearts 3 here or a new Chrono Trigger title. Read More...

Watch Microsoft's 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of June 2015 - 04:15 PM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Microsoft Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below We are one press conference in the bag and it is time to hop into the second major one for E3 in the way of Microsoft and all the wares that they will have for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows platforms. Just like with Bethesda and their E3 press conference there are some completely expected titles to come out here during the Microsoft conference; Games like Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, Gears Of War and Rise Of The Tomb Raider are completely on the docket here. I'd also place even money on their being some form of VR with the Oculus Rift on the Xbox One given the previous announcements but I also wouldn't be surprised if it was left out here too. Discover The Legends Within Rise Of The Tomb Raider With A Tease
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new teaser trailer for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been released to get us all pumped up for what Microsoft will be showing for the game at E3 All last week we were teased with something new for Rise Of The Tomb Raider and here we have it. It's…another tease for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. All along the same veins as the DOOM tease we had from Bethesda a few weeks ago, it looks like Crystal Dynamics has given us pretty much the same thing. Only in this case the tease doesn't look to show any gameplay for Rise Of The Tomb Raider and is all hype to make sure we are all going to be watching the Microsoft press conference at E3. As if we wouldn't be already to see what else will be coming to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Read More...

New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Screenshots Have Risen From The Snow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A fresh batch of screenshots for Rise Of The Tomb Raider have been released and ready to be ripped apart by all of us waiting for the next title in the franchise Last week we had a nice look at the new environment design for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Crystal Dynamics will be taking us on a lovely romp through Russia in the next game so we know it is going to be filled with all kinds of snow and dangerous locations for Lara to get into trouble. Sadly then that was really all we had to go with outside of a few little clips from videos past. That is no more as now we have some fresh Rise Of The Tomb Raider screenshots to look at that includes all of those harsh, cold environments as well as what looks like a nice warm desert scene. There is a new look at Rise Of The Tomb Raider and the new environments and effects that we will get to experience on the Xbox One Here we go with a few more updates for Rise Of The Tomb Raider coming from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Well we'll just keep on keeping on and have a look at what is new in the way of environments and the world for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. That is totally what we are going to do. Read More...
