Star Trek Online Boldly Goes Toward Consoles This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Trek Long running Star Trek Online MMO is now heading to the PS4 and Xbox One so more players can experience the Star Trek free-to-play title It's only been about six months in the waiting but now it looks like Star Trek Online is making the voyage to the PS4 and Xbox One. This is something that Perfect World and Cryptic had in the cards since the consoles that could handle the game's engine popped up and we will be seeing it again this Fall. As an added bonus here too, Star Trek Online will also be keeping its Free-To-Play model during the leap so there will be no worry about having to shell out for a game here to play a massive version of "catch up." It does seem a bit odd that it took this long for Star Trek Online to try and make the jump over to the console world but given the controls and UI of the PC version I think it is safe to say that we can blame it on that. Screen Shots Like Tribbles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of July 2009 - 09:52 PM ]
53 Shots From Star Trek Online Just when you think things are about to go quiet and cold for the elusive Star Trek Online, a plethora of things come flying out from Cryptic. It almost seems like they really did have an invasion of tribbles that somehow mingled with their screen shots and just kept multiplying. They have gone from releasing just a few shots with numbers of around 6 to the 53 that you will see below. Either that or their PR team has been sitting on these since before E3 and just now thought, "Maybe we should release them now. Read More...

Screen Shots Set To Stun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of February 2009 - 06:11 PM ]
New Screens For Star Trek Online There has been some more screen shots released into the wild for our consumption for Cryptic's new game Star Trek Online. Nothing really all that ground breaking except for the fact that there are a few more shots that are not of the space scenes of the game. Something that has been kind of rare from the past shots that have snuck out into the wild. I am still kind of curious on exactly how this game will actually look during play. These shots, much like the ones in the past, look a lot like concept shots, but then you can also see how they could be shots from the game. Read More...

Boldly Moving Further
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of February 2009 - 09:54 PM ]
Cryptic Studios Has Some New Star Trek Screens It's been a while since I have posted on this new MMO, the Star Trek one for those who skip the header or don't get my phrasings. But any ways. I checked on their site and found some newer screens for our collective viewing pleasure. The weird thing is that they kind of look like in game art as well as concepts. Like the one with the ship bashing through a moon or planet. But take a look. Read More...
