Just How Will South Park: The Fractured But Whole Surpass Its Predecessor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park A new interview with the developers of South Park: The Fractured But Whole shows off just how they are making this new South Park longer and better Recently we had the news that South Park: The Fractured But Whole was being delayed until Q1 of 2017 with very little explanation outside of making it a better game and experience for us all. The usual excuse given by developers when they can't make the deadline. The only difference here is that it looks like Ubisoft is going into a bit of the detail as to why we are waiting for our next adventure into South Park on the PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC as well as a few other things to look forward to. You Have To Hold That Fart Longer As South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of September 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
South Park It looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed a bit as this new South Park games is now set for 2017 Here we go with yet another sad bit of news as it looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole will no longer be hitting that December 6th date that we were given back at E3. It's odd as it did seem like Ubisoft was so certain that they were going to be able to hit this date only a few weeks ago during Gamescom but that just isn't the case anymore. In fact there is no news on when South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC outside of early 2017. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/15/16 â 8/19/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games There we go with another week in video games down and another huge convention full of updates and news to have under our belts. Gamescom is still going on as this is being written and there is still plenty more to be given out from it. Hopefully more for Final Fantasy XV now that it has been delayed or at least some more solid stuff for South Park without all the stank. I do not envy those who had to play that demo with the reverse gas mask on. Read More...

15 More Minutes Of South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Out Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
South Park More gameplay from South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and now we get to see some solid gameplay for South Park and not a few seconds Earlier this week we had some new South Park: The Fractured But Whole gameplay come out while many others had a chance to play a little bit of the game wearing a disgusting gas mask. That is how Ubisoft wanted to do it but it left a lot of us out in the lurch hoping to see something more than a few seconds in a short clip of the game. Thankfully we have other major sites out there that are paid to show off what they want to and now we have fifteen minutes of gameplay for South Park to gaze upon even if a little bit of it is the same as before. Newish Gameplay For South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
South Park Right out of Gamescom we have some new South Park: The Fractured But Whole gameplay and get to see just how the heroes will be saving South Park in their own way We all heard about what could be at Gamescom from South Park: The Fractured But Whole in terms of the experience and getting farts in your face. For those who can't be on the show floor and experience just that, it looks like Ubisoft has opted to give us yet another trailer for the game spliced with a bit more new gameplay. It does have a lot that we've already seen or heard for South Park already but it does show off some of the combat we'll experience when we choose our creation story, or are told it, when the game launches on December 6th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A Stinker Of An Experience For South Park: The Fractured But Whole
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
South Park A new video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and it pokes fun at the Oculus Rift in only a way that South Park can Hopefully by now you are fully aware of the crude and toilet humor that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is going to have mixed into the game. If you clicked in here than you have to know as the franchise is heading into its 20 season and this will be Ubisoft's second major foray into crafting an RPG for the franchise. It is still slated for a December 6th release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC before you fear that it was delayed but it does look like Gamescom may have something stinky from this South Park title on hand during the major convention. Rip One In Time For South Park: The Fractured But Whole
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of July 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
South Park A new behind the scenes video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole was revealed at SDCC during the big South Park anniversary panel and it has just that extra spice This was the year of the 20th season of South Park and as part of the big celebration of it all we had another great look at South Park: The Fractured But Whole out at SDCC. Not only did Ubisoft have a nice museum set up for The Coon and Friends again but this time they had a nice look at the dynamic duo working on the game in the background. That would be the creators of the franchise and the developers working together if you somehow didn't understand that. Read More...

It's Time To Take South Park: The Fractured But Whole Seriously
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
South Park In the wake of E3 we are still getting South Park: The Fractured But Whole details and this time it is just how the guys from South Park are taking the comedy a bit serious It sounds extremely weird and funny to hear that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is trying to take comedy seriously given the jokes about just that in the past. Of course we have to look past all of that as all of this comes from a recent interview about the game from some of the team out of Ubisoft. That and the fact that in terms of this South Park game this whole new revelation is in terms of the genre and not the specific jokes as the comedy genre in video games is on the light side. E3 2016 Impressions â South Park: The Fractured But Whole
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park While at E3 I was able to see South Park: The Fractured But Whole in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on South Park: The Fractured But Whole This has been marked down as one of my most anticipated titles of E3 and I was able to go behind the curtain and see South Park: The Fractured But Whole as they wanted to show us. Of course this being Ubisoft there was all the glamour mixed around it all to make everything more impressive than their little black room for the last title in the franchise. It looks like they get that South Park is something that is going to help rake in plenty of money and they are taking care of it. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 3/10/14 â 3/14/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. This has really been the week of reviews in gaming hasn't it? We reviewed Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2, The Walking Dead — S2E2, South Park: The Stick Of Truth, and Race The Sun. There are still more in the pipe at that but it has been one crazy week of reviews for all of you to ingest and get our informed opinion about the games that matter right now. Reviews aside, there have been some interesting developments for Mirror's Edge 2 and Tales From The Borderlands at that. I still can't believe that there is a rumor that ME2 is going to reboot the entire franchise yet still carry the numbered title. Read More...

Review: South Park: The Stick Of Truth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review South Park The Stick of Truth. Was it worth the delays and the hype? Is this their Magnum Opus? The moment has arrived, finally. South Park: The Stick Of Truth has finally launched and I have had the chance to give the turn-based-RPG a good play. Matt and Trey were hoping that they wouldn't be getting a 4/10 on Gamespot or any other crappy reviews for the game. How do you think they fared? Let me break it down for you and let you know what I think and if it is worth your time and money. Read More...

South Park The Stick Of Truth Gets Even More Censorship
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of February 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
South Park The Stick Of Truth is hit with further censorship. This time in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. What is being taken out? It's games like South Park The Stick Of Truth that make me happy to live in a country that doesn't openly censor entertainment content. I won't go down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories about that in the US but on a whole it isn't done as much as it seems to happen outside. Personally it is a little shocking what makes it in this nation of prudes but not other, more open cultures but it would seem that in this case we in the US are okay with anal probing as a whole. Jesting and personal views aside, below we have a lift of scenes that have had about 20 second edits to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of South Park The Stick Of Truth in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. It's been another busy week in the world of video games and gaming.
