This Week In Video Games 7/10/17 â 7/14/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag yet again. All with another all over the place kind of feel to it, but at least we were not all just sitting around wondering what is going on with a lot of our games and twiddling our thumbs. Not that we wouldn't have been out there playing with Sub Zero in Injustice 2 or getting ready for the next Mafia 3 expansion. Even if those where not on your list of video games to play, there is all kind of things to get ready for as we head toward SDCC and have many things for Call Of Duty: WWII to look for as well as Shadow Of War to prep for. Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Voice Cast Is Here & Ready For SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of July 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War It's time to hear who will be joining you on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's quest, aurally, & then maybe meet the Shadow Of War VO cast at SDCC We can mark this under the "Not A Huge Surprise" list, but Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be at SDCC this year and in tow will also be the voice cast for the game that has recently been announced. Of course some of the people from Monolith Productions will also be there to talk about the game, but given the way SDCC is, it will be more about the big names linked to the game and seeing them. Shadow Of War does seem to be pulling in some of the usual folk but also some other big names from the general acting pool as well. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/3/17 â 7/7/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That ends another week in video games out here and even with the slowdown due to the American holiday, it was still a pretty decent one out there. Not overflowing with news and updates, but still just enough out there to keep things flowing. I mean it was more about the updates for Horizon Zero Dawn and Shadow Of Mordor, but other video games like Assassin’s Creed Origins had quite a bit of highlight and we learned about the physical version of LawBreakers that hopefully you picked up on the PC or are waiting for the PS4 version to open up. Like I said, not too heavy and not too light at the end of the week. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Will Feature Your Greatest Nemesis From Shadow Of Mordor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of July 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new update for Shadow Of Mordor has released that will carry over Nemesis & Followers to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War If you had planned on getting to start completely new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you were right to think that as before now it didn't seem like there was going to be much of a bridge besides story for this title and Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor. For most gamers this is still an option, but for those who had some great nemesis and followers from the first game it looks like Monolith Productions is going to give us the option to carry over the best of each when we spin up the new game on October 10th. Yea, you will be able to start Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War off with your best follower from before at your side fighting the good fight, while needing to be on the lookout for your greatest nemesis whom may be trying to end out their story arc. Submit To Your Destiny & Story Of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new story trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has released and shows just what the new ring in Shadow Of War can and will do For a game that needed to be delayed until October 10th, there sure is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to go around here and I have a feeling there will be a lot more given its presence at E3 this year. If I had to guess it was less with Monolith Productions needing more time to polish or whatever and more to get the buzz going and the marketing campaigns to a high. Either way, there is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War out there to take in with more on the way and here we go today with more on the story with an official story trailer for the game. This Week In Video Games 5/29/17 â 6/2/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was a shorter week here in video games but it still packed a lot of punches indeed. A lot of which was just to build up to E3 in just over a week from now but still we had a bunch of good and bad things happen this week. I know it was a bummer to see that Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War was delayed a few months, as well as Agony. At least the second title there had an amazing reason for the delay. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Has Sadly Been Delayed A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of June 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War It looks like Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been delayed a bit as the team aims to make Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War a better title…somehow I hope you weren't still looking for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to launch this August as it has sadly been delayed out from the initial date we were given. It looks like Monolith Productions needs more time to perfect the game and the Nemesis gameplay so now we have to wait. How much longer of a wait? Read More...

Get Ready To Dominate Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Open World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of May 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has just dropped and it gives us a glimpse of the other lands Shadow Of War will have to offer us all It's been a nice little bit since we had something new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and now we get to come at you with an open-world kind of trailer to look at. It's not the kind that you would assume with all of the other open-world trailers we get, but this one shows off more of the fighting as well as a few of the new places that Monolith Productions has put together for us to explore so it isn't all Mordor and the surrounding areas. That would make Shadow Of War a little on the boring side if we were still confined to the same locations as before, but that will not be the case. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Has Its First Bit Of Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of March 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The first bit of gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is finally here and now we can see how Shadow Of War has progressed from its predecessor Just as promised last week, here we go with some solid new gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Not only does it show off some amazing combat but it looks like Monolith Productions has gone out of their way to vastly improve the Nemesis mechanic in the game as it could very well leap over to many other aspects and characters in the game. Mix that in with some cinematic and over-the-top looking battles, Shadow Of War looks just like where the game needed to head toward and so far so good. Especially since it looks like things can go well or south real fast depending on how you deal with the aftermath of taking down an enemy stronghold. Read More...
