Jack In With A New Look At Cyberpunk 2077 From E3 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk The first real look at Cyberpunk 2077 is here out of E3 2018 and it gives us all the fun we should expect for a Cyberpunk game The moment most of us have been waiting for has come as we now have something solid to look at for Cyberpunk 2077 other than teaser images and concept art. We have had so little to see for this game and yet CD Projekt RED has had us all so hyped up for the game since it was first mentioned they were working on it. It could have been because it was something new that few have actually taken on or it could have been them still riding on the hype of their last few titles that have impressed us all. Nonetheless, we now have something to see for Cyberpunk 2077 that also looks to be done in-engine and not just a CG trailer. Read More...

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Back With More Gameplay From E3 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of June 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The first gameplay for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here now and we get to see how the franchise has evolved from the last Tomb Raider title We have been good and waited until this year's E3 to finally see Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in motion. At least in terms of gameplay. Since it has been known that Eidos-Montréal will have the game ready for us on September 14th, it was a given that we would get to see it during Square Enix's media event this year and then again on the show floor. They could have kept all of that under wraps until the release date, but that is just not how all of this marketing thing goes to make sure we are pre-ordering and ready for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. I guess that is good for all of us who have been dying to see just what is in store for us with the game. Read More...

The First Bit Of Gameplay For Overkillâs The Walking Dead Is Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We finally have our first bit of gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead and it looks like it is a new way to experience The Walking Dead The wait is over and we finally have some gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead to look at instead of all of the amazing little teases and pre-rendered segments we have been given so far. Not that I have not enjoyed what Starbreeze has put together for those little bits, but I know I just want to see what I will be playing for Overkill here and not just the fancy stuff we will not be playing. All without having to wait until November 6th to get to actually see and play this version of The Walking Dead on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Resident Evil 2 Is Remade And Hitting Us This Coming January
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The remake of Resident Evil 2 has something to look at and it comes with an official release date for Resident Evil 2 as well It has been so long since we first heard word that Resident Evil 2 was getting remade and we have seen so much for the franchise since then. If memory serves, it was back in 2015 that we first heard from Capcom that they were looking to remake one of their strongest games in the franchise and fans have been left wanting since. That is if you forget that they put out Resident Evil 7 and a whole bunch of DLC and other smaller titles in the process. Some just HD upgrades and such, but still something in the franchise as we wait for RE2 to be remade and brought to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

The Last Of Us Part II Has A Lot More Gameplay To Look At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of June 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Last Of Us The first bit of gameplay for The Last Of Us Part II is here out of E3 and it shows just how the world of The Last Of Us has changed Just as it was promised, we have a lot of new gameplay for The Last Of Us Part II. Like a whole lot of new gameplay out of E3 here. We are talking upwards or twelve minutes of new gameplay that Naughty Dog has put together to show off just how the game looks and acts. Enough to get us all riled up again for The Last Of Us Part II and ignore the fact that we still have no release date or window defined for the game. We will all live for now as there are many other games to hold us over on the PS4 and that we will not be adding to the list of February games we already have had. Read More...

The announcement that Hyperbolic Magnetism will be bringing the game to the platform came out as part of the PrE3 announcements that were coming to the PlayStation. It was also kind of a given that Beat Saber would be heading over as it was originally listed as "coming to consoles" back when we first heard the announcement, but now it is official. At least as official as it can be given that it is still in an Early Access stage for the Oculus and Vive versions for the game that released a little over a month ago. Read More...

Fear The Wolves Just ahead of E3, we have the first bit of gameplay for Fear The Wolves to look at and see how the large battle royale matches of Fear The Wolves will play out We have had nothing but text and still images for Fear The Wolves before and now is the time we get to finally see the game in action. Yes, it looks like Vostok Games has put together a bit of gameplay to show us what a typical match could be like; at least in the game's current form. Twin Mirror Will Have You Questioning What Is Real In 2019
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of June 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Twin Mirror Another new game is announced with Twin Mirror and we may be questioning our brains when we finally come to the end of Twin Mirror It has not even been more than a week since DontNod released their last title and here we are with an announcement for Twin Mirror here just before E3. I am not going to complain at all, but it definitely looks like they are on a roll here and bringing out titles that take us into different worlds and narratives on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Not to mention that Bandai Namco teamed up with Sony to make Twin Mirror the third early announcement for the week before E3 officially kicks off. Not a terrible way for any of them to start it all off. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman After many leaks, Hitman 2 has been officially announced and will be adding to the Hitman universe by this November There was a lot of buildup and then a lot of leaks, but now we have it that Hitman 2 is coming and will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13th this year. No point in living in the dark anymore as things were shown off before IO Interactive and Warner Bros. were ready for it. We were all just too alert for a new Hitman to make it to E3 or this PrE3 time. Read More...

Heather Is Here To Round Out The Characters For Overkillâs The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The fourth and final character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead is now here and we can start to see just how this version of The Walking Dead is shaping up Today marks the day that all of the characters for Overkill’s The Walking Dead have been revealed and now we will hopefully be seeing some actual gameplay or other elements for the game moving forward. Not that I do not enjoy the CGI videos that Overkill has for each of them, but I think it is high time for a look at what we should actually be getting in Fall of 2018. Maybe it is just me? Review â Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Vampyr We sit down and review Vampyr. A new take on the vampire mythology where NPC deaths matter. Here is our review of Vampyr It has been hyped, delayed, hyped again, and now Vampyr has finally risen from the grave to bring us another interpretation on the mythology of the children of the night and the sweet music they make. At least that is the goal that DontNod has set out to do here with the game and its different take on a historic tragedy most know little about. I know I have been hyped to get to play the game and see how this dark world thrives as well as the undead bloodsuckers that inhabit it. Read More...

The Tetris Effect Is Going To Be Much More Than Syndrome Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Tetris Effect A new VR title is coming with Tetris Effect and Tetris Effect looks to turn the core gameplay into a 3D, immersive experience The first of the PrE3 announcements that we were promised by Son is here and it all starts off with Tetris Effect. A new title coming from Enhance Experience and looking to take this "effect" and bring it to us all in a new way on the PS4 and PSVR. That is right, Tetris Effect will have PSVR support included in at launch and we can play this traditionally 2D game in a full 3D environment. As if we did not have enough to already worry about with the dropping of blocks and clearing of lines. Read More...

The Walking Dead: The Final Season Gets Really Dark With A Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of June 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The release date for The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been set and we will see how Clementine's story will wrap in The Walking Dead universe Get those tears ready as The Walking Dead: The Final Season has a release date set for the first episode now and now we can see how it will all end on August 14th. At least see how Clementine's story will end in the franchise, so that could mean that Telltale Games could technically keep the IP going but I have a feeling that this will be the end of it all. This, of course, does not sound like things will go to well for the character as this is The Walking Dead and stories almost always come to a close with the character's horrible death. Read More...
