It Is Time To Go Behind The Music Of Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Detroit New information on the music for Detroit: Become Human is here and we get to hear how three different composers are setting the mood in Detroit: Become Human When it comes to having three different characters in Detroit: Become Human, the team over at Quantic Dream wanted them each to feel a bit different from each other to help emphasize the story and world. That is the base assumption from the start. Given that they are taking the story and storytelling method for Detroit: Become Human down the same path as that of feature films or television, they would need a way to help focus on differences between them all subtlety. Spider-Manâs Combat Works A Bit Different Than Many Of Us Have Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man is here and it shows us a little more on how the combat system in Spider-Man will play out and work It is time to blow some of those preconceived notions on how the combat in Spider-Man is actually going to play out and handle. Way back when the game was first announced and shown off, it looks like a very tried and true method to combat was something that Insomniac Games was going to use. More or less, it looks a lot like the way it all worked in the Arkham titles, which all were really solid gameplay mechanics. While it may have looked that way, we are here to tell you that it is not going to be that way exactly for Spider-Man as he is obviously a different kind of fighter and uses many other things to his benefit in a fight. Siegfried Will Not Surrender To The Nightmare In SoulCalibur VI
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Soulcalibur The next character for SoulCalibur VI is here to look at and it is another from SoulCalibur ’s past as Siegfried has now officially joined the roster One more of the alumni from the franchise's past is back for SoulCalibur VI now. Not a huge surprise as I am sure we will have more of the old characters mixed in with the few new ones that Bandai Namco will be working. In the end though, as long as we have a good roster with a lot of great fighters on it I do not think many will have an issue with SoulCalibur VI. Moreover, now that Siegfried has now been confirmed and ready to show what he will be bringing to the fight when the game launches later this year. Read More...

They are offered up by the dev team for a reason and they are there to make the whole experience a bit more challenging. Staying true to form, Santa Monica Studio is keeping with this element in the new God Of War and now we know how hard the game could be to beat. Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemptionâs Release Has Been Pushed Back A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Sinner The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption has been pushed back but at least gamers on the Switch will have the chance to give Sinner a play If you were gearing up to play Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption on April 25th here…then you may want to put the brakes on that. It looks like the game is no longer hitting that date and will now be looking at a Q3 2018 release date to get in on this new Boss Battler title with a twist Dark Star Games and Another Indie are working on. That seems like quite the delay for a game that was supposed to land just a few weeks from now. The bigger reason given for the delay is that it will now be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch all at the same time. Read More...

Overkillâs The Walking Dead Next Character Is Here To Break Hearts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead game has a new trailer to see and it shows another darker side in the world of The Walking Dead It is time to add another character to Overkill’s The Walking Dead and here we go with Maya. Just like the last character that we were shown from Overkill, it is all done through a very cinematic manner and not through any real gameplay to look at. Not that I am going to complain as this one certainly embodies The Walking Dead universe with another tragic survival story told without any words but actions. More or less, the backstory of Maya that we can look to experience when we get to finally play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Fall. Read More...

Review â Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Extinction We sit down and review Extinction. There are colossal size ogres killing the world and we need to stop them. Here is our review of Extinction With a name like Extinction there is a lot to build up to and deliver on. It definitely floats an idea out there and sets some ideas for any games who may be looking at it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC now that it has released. This would also happen to be the next title that Iron Galaxy is putting out there where we are the last bit of hope between humanity getting to live or getting eaten by colossal creatures. You are hopefully getting an idea of what Extinction is all about, but for those who want more, we sat down and gave it a solid play. Read More...

The Walking Dead: The Final Season Will Be Shaking Up The Usual Formula A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season was shown off during PAX East and it looks to change some of the gameplay for The Walking Dead that we knew During PAX East there was a nice little panel that went into a bit more for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Not the most hidden of information as Telltale Games made sure we all knew about it and had a chance to watch it from the comfort of our own homes if we were not able to attend the event this year. It was nice of them and definitely caught the eye of many fans of The Walking Dead out there. Unfortunately for those who could not make their way out there in general, you had to miss out on things even if you did catch most of the panel as it was streamed live. Read More...

Get Ready For A Lot Of Intense Web Swinging In Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new interview for the upcoming Spider-Man title is out there and we get some further insight on just how Spider-Man’s web swinging will flow If for some reason you were worried about how the web swinging was going to work in Spider-Man or if it was going to be some weird thing that the team did not focus on, then you can place some of those concerns aside. I do not know who you would be out there as almost everyone has had strong faith in Insomniac Games doing right by the fans with the game; I just know you were out there. Nonetheless, we have a new look at just how this aspect of Spider-Man will work in the game and it definitely impresses as it looks to use more of the real-world physics to do just what we want. God Of War Will Have You Playing Your Version Of Kratos
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
God Of War A new developer diary for God Of War is here to show a bit more the customization in God Of War and how it affects gameplay When the pre-order options for God Of War started to pop up we all had our first look at how we may be able to customize Kratos in the new game hitting us on April 20th. At first, it all looked cosmetic and a nice little extra to change up Kratos' look as Santa Monica Studio has done in past titles. Then it was revealed that there was going to be more than just a little bit of style and look with this "gear system" in God Of War and that there would be some kind of change outside of just cosmetic. Review â Assassinâs Creed Rogue Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed We sit down and review Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered. A title that was lost in the sea of technology upgrades. Here is our review of Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered Sometimes games go missing through the cracks or just have poor timing when they release. These were a few of the reasons I heard and experienced on why gamers missed out on Assassin’s Creed Rogue way back when it launched. It was competing with another game that Ubisoft had also put out but during the age when we were all transitioning to the PS4 or Xbox One. That is one of the great reasons we have remasters and why I was excited to find out that Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered was going to be an actual thing out there. Read More...

God Of Warâs May Also Be A Bit Different Than We Knew Before
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
God Of War The new God Of War is bringing many changes to the franchise and here is how the score for God Of War has been changed up to give more authenticity One of the things that God Of War has always been known for, outside of the insane violence to the Gods, has been the score and music that accompanies the game. It sets the mood in many cases or emphasizes what Santa Monica Studio was going for in the scene. Think back to any version of the God Of War franchise and I think you will be hard-pressed to find a scene that did not have some level of music with it to set the mood. Read More...
