Overkill’s The Walking Dead Next Character Is Here To Break Hearts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead game has a new trailer to see and it shows another darker side in the world of The Walking Dead It is time to add another character to Overkill’s The Walking Dead and here we go with Maya. Just like the last character that we were shown from Overkill, it is all done through a very cinematic manner and not through any real gameplay to look at. Not that I am going to complain as this one certainly embodies The Walking Dead universe with another tragic survival story told without any words but actions. More or less, the backstory of Maya that we can look to experience when we get to finally play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Fall. Read More...

Review — Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Extinction We sit down and review Extinction. There are colossal size ogres killing the world and we need to stop them. Here is our review of Extinction With a name like Extinction there is a lot to build up to and deliver on. It definitely floats an idea out there and sets some ideas for any games who may be looking at it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC now that it has released. This would also happen to be the next title that Iron Galaxy is putting out there where we are the last bit of hope between humanity getting to live or getting eaten by colossal creatures. You are hopefully getting an idea of what Extinction is all about, but for those who want more, we sat down and gave it a solid play. Read More...

The Walking Dead: The Final Season Will Be Shaking Up The Usual Formula A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season was shown off during PAX East and it looks to change some of the gameplay for The Walking Dead that we knew During PAX East there was a nice little panel that went into a bit more for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Not the most hidden of information as Telltale Games made sure we all knew about it and had a chance to watch it from the comfort of our own homes if we were not able to attend the event this year. It was nice of them and definitely caught the eye of many fans of The Walking Dead out there. Unfortunately for those who could not make their way out there in general, you had to miss out on things even if you did catch most of the panel as it was streamed live. Read More...

Get Ready For A Lot Of Intense Web Swinging In Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new interview for the upcoming Spider-Man title is out there and we get some further insight on just how Spider-Man’s web swinging will flow If for some reason you were worried about how the web swinging was going to work in Spider-Man or if it was going to be some weird thing that the team did not focus on, then you can place some of those concerns aside. I do not know who you would be out there as almost everyone has had strong faith in Insomniac Games doing right by the fans with the game; I just know you were out there. Nonetheless, we have a new look at just how this aspect of Spider-Man will work in the game and it definitely impresses as it looks to use more of the real-world physics to do just what we want. God Of War Will Have You Playing Your Version Of Kratos
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War A new developer diary for God Of War is here to show a bit more the customization in God Of War and how it affects gameplay When the pre-order options for God Of War started to pop up we all had our first look at how we may be able to customize Kratos in the new game hitting us on April 20th. At first, it all looked cosmetic and a nice little extra to change up Kratos' look as Santa Monica Studio has done in past titles. Then it was revealed that there was going to be more than just a little bit of style and look with this "gear system" in God Of War and that there would be some kind of change outside of just cosmetic. Review — Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed We sit down and review Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered. A title that was lost in the sea of technology upgrades. Here is our review of Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered Sometimes games go missing through the cracks or just have poor timing when they release. These were a few of the reasons I heard and experienced on why gamers missed out on Assassin’s Creed Rogue way back when it launched. It was competing with another game that Ubisoft had also put out but during the age when we were all transitioning to the PS4 or Xbox One. That is one of the great reasons we have remasters and why I was excited to find out that Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered was going to be an actual thing out there. Read More...

God Of War’s May Also Be A Bit Different Than We Knew Before
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War The new God Of War is bringing many changes to the franchise and here is how the score for God Of War has been changed up to give more authenticity One of the things that God Of War has always been known for, outside of the insane violence to the Gods, has been the score and music that accompanies the game. It sets the mood in many cases or emphasizes what Santa Monica Studio was going for in the scene. Think back to any version of the God Of War franchise and I think you will be hard-pressed to find a scene that did not have some level of music with it to set the mood. Read More...

It has been a good year for Larian Studios with the game and it looks like they have finally taken it over to give access to as many players as possible. I am sure that there are other reasons that have been pushed to get Divinity: Original Sin II over to the consoles, but for now, we can go with just that. Read More...

Try Not To Fear The Reaper With The Latest Story Bit For Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Vampyr A new story trailer for Vampyr is here and dives into a different side of the story for Vampyr that we have yet to hear or explore Add another story trailer to the list for Vampyr as we have just that for you now. Not that I do not enjoy getting more and more for the game, but I just do not want DontNod to show off all of the inner workings of it before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 5th. I am sure that we are going to be safe on that, but we have another good look at the game's story again. This time it does seem to focus a bit more on the darker aspects of Vampyr and not just the general goings on in the game's world. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Spyro Official word has come down that Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming to us all and will house the first three Spyro titles in remastered form Rumor no more as Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been announced and will be the nice big remastered package of these original games for us all. Most of the rumors we had heard so far have been about spot on, except that the games are being remastered by Toys For Bob instead. It will house the first three Spyro titles all rebuilt from the ground up and coming at us in the HD quality that the PS4 and Xbox One can currently push out there. It is not mentioned directly by Activision, but I am guessing it will be 1080p for the base models of the consoles and 4K for the Pro and X versions of the systems. Read More...

The Council We sit down and review The Council: Mad Ones. This is the first episode of Big Bad Wolf’s interesting take on history & the occult. Here’s our review of The Council: Mad Ones A new type of episodic game is entering the arena with The Council as the first episode is now out there for those interested to enjoy.
